    Fantastic video, thanks for sharing this. As a photographer/videographer here in the UK you would be required to draw a high spec floorplan, do a virtual tour, photography, video and maybe drone. Carry out 2-3 shoots per day, have it all edited and turned around within 24 hours and you'd make about £100-£150 per property for the effort through an agency. I've been doing this work for about 7 years, still love it but just recently got more involved in video. I really have to get out of agency work.

      Depends ! If it’s bright yes. Otherwise I use f2.8 most of the time because I like how it looks. Gets most things in focus and adds a little bit of a cinematic feel. If I were using a Sony which can have super clean footage at high ISO I might do it differently though.

    How much would you charge for something like this?

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Lots of variables to consider like usage, project scope, property size, editing needs etc. But for starters 400+ is pretty normal for daytime videos (drone+gimbal work). Good to itemize what all you're doing to make sure its actually profitable and worth it for you 😄

    Do you Shoot on log profile?

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Almost always ! Sometimes I’ll shoot standard if the lighting is great and need to edit faster but mostly just for my own projects not client work.

      @@jacianparrilla8186 I usually use my presets , and tweak them a bit per shot. Check out my video on color grading though, it covers LOG and Picture Profile footage 👍👍👍

    we get tons of really old houses in the northeast. I haven't seen a video of how to shoot a house that needs tlc. *shrug*

      Focus on the good parts. Maybe more detail shots and keep it shorter. Or the other way if you’re wanting to show remodelers everything focus on wide shots so they can imagine what they can do with it.

    Man I wanna know how to get realtor clients

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey!! Definitely one of the harder parts about the photo/video industry. Unfortunately I don't think theres any big "hack" except getting as involved in any industry related things as you possibly can so you can meet potential clients / get referrals / etc. (and cold emailing people with your portfolio). Depending on where your quality of work is, and people skills are it could be quick or could take years to build up clients.. Definitely a long - game type of strategy but once your work + reputation gets out there, it can pile up if you're in a good location for it ! I have a video on it that might help you figure out what to work on if you want to check it out for more info: th-cam.com/video/apvEXrqGuUw/w-d-xo.html
