I'm glad you had a fun time with this one throughout, and just good to see more coverage on this game nowadays! Something worth noting is that Yuki and Dish have some slightly different styles, not just in terms of weapons. They both have that blood dash, but Yuki has that as an innate power while Dish can only do the phase dash with the phase sword. What this means, is that Dish's dodges with the other weapons are different. It's very managable with the Cleavers and the Guillotine, but the Violence Hammer and *especially* the Dekkentozter pin you more to the ground. Now, the Violence Hammer does seem to still be a borderline gamebreaker because of its power, slow initial windup be darned, but the Dekkentozter requires extra work to make it... work. The intended method is to spray an enemy under, but this pins Dish (almost wrote "dishes Pin") to the ground for the duration. But if you hit an enemy with the electric panini maker afterwards, it's probably the highest single-hit damage potential of any weapon! I personally really liked the Cleavers, nice, quick and meaty. The Guillotine is interesting for having a combo that can theoretically continue forever by an initial little combo or a slamdown from the air (i think), and then rapidly pressing Light and Heavy attack buttons to make Dish simply cut forwards. Yuki on the other hand (which got cut off) gets the chainsaw arm amongst dual kamas, a cloud sword that has a charge input for electric damage, and a giant syringe called the Painkiller. Kamas seem to fulfill a similar purpose to the Cleaver, the cloud sword is i guess kind of like the Violence Hammer but a bit weaker, and the Painkiller has surprisingly rapid and heavy attacks. I'd say both have fun movesets. Here's to hoping the original Dishwasher can be preserved well and that Ska Studios can keep on making and delivering cool and solid games such as Charlie Murder. In the meantime, wish you well and have a good one.
Yeeee this game is awesome! Glad you guys recommended it What the that's pretty cool how the dash is different. Basically has its own playstyle huh? Dem goes to show to show REALLY did stick to katana haha Not sure if it was intended but describing the cleavers as meaty was funny! But yo that's pretty cool to hear how Yuki has so many things to make em feel unique on their own. Oh yea fingers crossed these games can be played by more ppl someday bc It's too good to be left behind. N yo you take it easy out there too! Always great to have you drop in - til next time✦
@@DynoSkrimisher Yooo I nvr thought about that. You have a million dollar idea right there! It would be so cool to see that style done in 3d huh? Would definitely be a 1 of a kind that's for sure
Closest thing i can think of to a 3D Dishwasher game in terms of gameplay would be Ninja Gaiden. For the visual style, a 3D Dishwasher game would definitely be sick! A 3D Charlie Murder could be fun too. That one is more colorful and even silly compared to Dishwasher.
@@jurtheorc8117 As much as I didn't care for Yaiba. I've always thought it's art direction was Awesome! Would be amazing to see that sorta style used again in an ooover the top hyper aggressive action game. Not only will it look hype but itll just sell the visceral gameplay even More
Hayabusa and Dishwasher in the thumbnail? I'm literally that one specific guy who would click the video just for that combination lmao. I'm currently playing mi fav action game Ninja Gaiden Black and the now 360 lost game The Dishwasher VS.
You play Dead Samurai? You can roll jump in it, and wall attacks are more useful mid string, since you can only fly with shift blade and can just cancel the lag with a switch
