    My grandma bought me this one probably around 1979, I was 3 or 4. I remember it was one of my favorites. Seeing this video really brought back some good memories. Glad it showed up in my recommended section.

    Love seeing these--they were made a bit too early for me to have gotten them from shops, but there used to be a few of these down at playschool and dentist, and some friends had some passed down from older siblings so I played with them a bit. Total nostalgia.

  • @JokelesComedian
    @JokelesComedian 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I like the way you present this. Anyone watching can learn something from this. I agree with the criticism but I will say. Anyone putting themselves out on a platform like youtube for the world to judge gets extra points in my book.
    I am not a restorer and I am not watching for learned skills to apply to a real world product, I just enjoy someone that can take "trash" and make it a memory like this. It reminds me of my grandpa. People today throw away something like this all the time and not think twice about it. Taking pride in your craft and possession shows you can display the value of a dollar. Thanks for this.

    nice to see a restorer take the time to really clean and show attention to every part of the model. Most restorers on youtube only seem to care about what the finished thing looks like from the surfaces you can see, and use a 'that'll do' approach and dont take the time to really treat the entire thing with love and attention. Best of luck with your channel.
