- How I made it
Gilding Gold Leaf with Stainless Steel rods
As a woodturner I use gouges and woodturning chisels and occasionally a carbide thingy on my woodturning lathes to make my wood crafts.
This didn't turn out exactly like I predicted it would, but hopefully someone will like it :-(
I actually love it! Lol I think it has a very feminine feel 😅 it would be amazing in a 'celebration of the feminine form' collection!
You do make me laugh when you talk about how you are going to make it, you make it sound so easy when actually there is so much skill in making this! Fabulous piece!

@@WoodWithD love resin work but it’s so expensive, I bought some and pigments but to scared to use it. I’ve only filled up cracks and gum lines so far. I’ve really got to man up and try something more than cracks and gum lines lol

Though they do take A LONG time to make with all the various processes involved! Which is partly why it’s been a while putting out new videos 😔

Damn I do love me some burl. The design is great although maybe you were looking for a bit more of a slope? I don't know but either way this piece was very creative I've never seen much like it
