Replacing Glow Plug Relay on 7.3 - 2002 F250 7.3 Diesel - Episode 9

I decided to replace the glow plug relay on the truck just to see if it was the main cause of all the smoke on cold start-ups. Unfortunately it was not, so I ordered up some new glow plugs and I'll be replacing those in a future video!

Thats a bummer,I bet glow plugs are expensive.....

Surprisingly they're not terribly expensive! A set of 8 motorcraft ones was only $70. Just a bit of labor to put them in 😁

Did new glow plugs fix it?

New glow plugs (not the relay) did indeed fix my issue. I have another video on working on the glow plugs if you want to check that out. A bit more information is all.
