I don't usually post these types of videos, but this one I really wanted to post, as it is an amazing series.
Personally one of the best scenes of the amazing new Netflix series Wednesday.
Directed by Tim Burton "Wednesday" tells the story of Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) the daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams.

@atillaozdemir4629 yeah she isnt even playing the same song IIRC. She played mozart or something and they dubbed paint it black over it.
no, she didn't. those arpeggios are almost impossible to play that well and she is using the bow during the section that starts at 0:21, which the sound in that section is impossible to even make with a cello.
This scene goes hard. I can feel that music in my soul.

Not only did Jenna Ortega play her role fantastically, but I love the fact that she is also a hardcore fan that stuck to her guns against the studio on her portrayal.
Everybody went mad over the dance-scene in this show...
It's a good scene, but frankly, I was a lot more impressed with these two minutes! It's just a great moment, and Jenna sells it so damn well!
This was actually my favorite scene when I watched the show. This and the fire on the statue. But this one, man o man it gave me goosebumps.
The editing in this series was so well choreographed, add the music from the opening scenes to this one and the dance, it was head spinning.
Also when she plays at thr ceremony in town that's also gets into the nerves

She really does she,s so amazing as Wednesday i dont think anyone can pull it off they way she did except christina Ricci when she played wednesday as a kid.

I've heard the actress learned cello for this role -- commendable work! Her technique is excellent. If she's interested in further applying her musical talent to the instrument I would recommend emphasizing tone quality at every possible point within a song. She has learned a professional level of tone quality for fast-paced notes, and if she were to also learn that level of tone quality for the slower notes I think she'd like the result!

Jenna Ortega embodied the character véry well!
Perhaps she had a lot of information on her character from the óriginal actress, Christina Ricci who played Wendesday in the Movies, and played an Antagonist in the series, which was a véry nice idea, but also a very smart move of the production!

@@idkcharAs a cellist, I’d much prefer to simply pull the stand closer, so I’m not entirely sure why she’s doing that, also it most definitely can affect playing, as having one’s hair that close to the fingerboard can make the fingerings harder.
