    Agree, no yellow nails for me. I like this pretty and feminine color. Not too dark, not sheer. Great tips on the bubbles in the top coat.

      Hi Jeanette, more Dazzle Dry swatches? I don't really have other brands. We don't really receive PR from other brands... except from Zoya we received 2 collections 2 years ago and from What's up Nails.

  • @xpresson6338
    @xpresson6338 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You're very right Anna. Bubbles in the DD top coat form when I'm not gentle with the brush, when I move quickly and perhaps a bit rough. There is a colour from DD that I love called poppy poison and as my nails are a bit porous if I only use one coat of the base coat my nails end up looking bright orange after I take it off! 😅. Two coats takes care of that. I wear DD for a few days only on my hands. I use DD because of how quickly it dries. On my feet I left it longer ( 2 weeks) but I had surface damage so I reverted to using regular polishes and I'm fine.

    I’ve been using Dazzle Dry base and top coats with other polishes for five years, and they work well for me. I’ve built up a collection of colors I love. I also don’t like a lot of the Dazzle Dry colors. Yes, some of the regular polishes discolor the nails, but I usually keep polish on, so that’s not a problem. It’s true that the entire process takes longer than using Dazzle Dry, since the polish takes longer to dry between coats, but once the top coat is on, it dries fast. It also lasts. I keep polish on only for a week or so and then take a day off, but I’m sure it would last longer if I wanted it to.

    • @TheSalonLife
      @TheSalonLife  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so much for your feedback :) Honest question, why would you use such expensive base and top if you are not getting the non yellowing and it dries more than 5 min? I'm just trying to understand, not trying to criticise you :))

    • @keggycat
      @keggycat ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheSalonLife For the reasons I originally stated. I have a large collection of other polishes, and have searched for just the right colors. A manicure doesn’t take much longer than it does with DD polish, and it lasts. The base and top coats are worth the price. I really enjoy your channel.

    Such a pretty pink ! I sort of think the surface damage is like a pocket lift from banging your gel nails around? Like when the edges are used a lot or bent? Product loosening it's bond from a nail is not likely to come off without taking something with it x_x;; Thanks for sharing your work!

    • @TheSalonLife
      @TheSalonLife  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are filling into the skin then yes, you might be weakening the nail. Also lack of flexibility makes the nail break there. Here is a video about it th-cam.com/video/io335eWf6R4/w-d-xo.html

      I didn't know that about islam. I knew about the five times of praying and I know about the ritual washing.
      Why did he point out that nails must be able to Tauch the water?
      Maybe some people had very muddy or earthy hands back then from work?
      So the women have the need of removable nails then.
      5 times of putting those nails on and off on just one day is a lot.
      They can Clip them on and wear them for three hours of a nice dinner then.
      Or some hours of a big wedding.

      I cannot, I put gel on mines now, as I wasn't able to grow my nails at all and wanted so bad to have longer nails, lol. I should have reached out to you earlier. But I can still do that after I will take off the gel, get back healthy nails after the gel, start using DD, though it will be months later, lol.

      You can’t “process” dry skin by filing it. Dry skin is a sign of broken skin barrier. That can only be corrected with gentle skin care and protecting the skin. Not abrading the skin.
