In the future could you explain specifically how you tilt the file when you do your shaping? It's hard for me to understand with the camera whether the file is actually straight up and down against the nail or when it's tilted slightly underneath or actually fully flat, etc. You know? I love you videos so much!! It's just hard for me to grasp.

Oh I needed this video today! I used Dazzle Dry on my nails today and I noticed it was a bit stringy! Now I know why and what to do. I only did 2 coats of Peacefully Me but I’m going to try 3 next time. I ordered a couple of blue minis and am waiting on them to arrive. I like the idea of minis too!! ❤
@@TheSalonLife Laugh with me, ok??? I did it on both. It actually only happened on 2 nails where I got a bit heavy handed and rushed on the polish. I suspected it might not have dried completely. So the second coat was a tiny bit stringy. Then I turned around and did it again with the top coat. I didn’t have problems with any other nails! I’m getting XOXO in the mail today!! 🥰

I love neutrals and sheers like Fine China and Taupe of the Morning, (e.g. colors like Essie's Ballet Slippers and Marshmallow) but I find sometimes other DD sheers/lighter colors apply with streaks. Also tips on how to apply such formulas for success and a good-looking application result. Thanks!

Hi Ana, I’ve been following for awhile (I can’t remember if I’ve commented or not). I just love your videos and have been following your advice. Learning the difference between the PNF and cuticle has been game-changing for me! I bought my first DD mini kit (used your discount code) with a few neutral minis and love it. Ordered a lobster red mini from Amazon and was sad to discover it without a brush. It’s ineligible for return/replacement on Amazon so maybe I’ll just stick to ordering DD directly from their website. Anyways, thank you for sharing so much amazing information with us. I tried to follow your advice when it comes to doing your manicure one day then letting your nails rest and then applying polish the next day. The problem I have is that once I remove the clear coat that I usually wear my nail beds hurt so much the next day. Is that normal?
My left index broke I've been filing it down but I keep getting this little micro chip 🤷🏻♀️ I filed it again it won't go away it's shorter then my other nails I don't want to file it down more suggestions?

The polish was stringy? Or the top coat? If the polish is stringy then maybe you were applying it over not completely dry base coat?

Avoid the stringiness by not allowing water into the mixture and keeping the rim of the bottle clean with acetone (without getting the acetone inside)
