- Paper chromatography is a Chromatography technique, that uses paper for the separation purpose. The paper acts as
as solid supporting phase. The water molecules in the pores of the paper acts as a stationary phase. Mixture of different solvents can be used as a mobile phase. There are different modes in which paper chromatography is carried out, these are ascending paper chromatography, descending paper chromatography, radial paper chromatography and 2D paper chromatography.
after studying from 3-4 books i only understood it here and this is how simplicity works .
Watched this 3hrs before my exammm 😅….thnkkkuuu a tonnnn…really helped,I always used to get confuse with chromatography 🤧
days before ap chem and i still haven't finished cramming all the things...
haha if it makes you feel better you're better off than I am i just started cramming
@@kevinshi797 Luckily I submitted successfully during the test, or I will have to suffer it again in June...
Helped so much thank you ♥️
So best teaching God bless you
So helpful keep it up you I make me understand on that difficult topic.
Can please tell me that here stationary phase is liquid ( cellulose fiber) or solid(paper)?
Thankyou somuch for this video ❤🎉
what are the methods or ways of separating plant pigments?? only TLC and paper chromatography ?? please I need help
No words to say the best video and educational channel in you tube is yours.kudos❤❤❤❤❤❤
you simply described the concepts which were so hard for me at first. Thank you very much🙏
Could you please post centrifugation and electrophoresis topics please
Sir i have a problem, its about drawing the diagrams, in my book it says that the start line must be drawed from 5 cm to the bottom , so if we move 5 cm up from the start line would that be the solvent front or top of the paper
Solvent will be running from bottom to top in ascending order.
Thank for fast and simple explanation
Super explanation sir
Before this video i was in great confusion
Thank you
Wao nice way of teaching
Helpful video
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you man
When is water added to the paper?
Amino acid separation... I kept smiling...
Please try to tell the principal along with ur so best explanation ❤️
Great work
0:57 there's is one more type of mode i.e "Ascending descending pc" which is missing. 🙄
So the more soluble substance travels the farthest while the less soluble substance stays near or on the point where the stain was first did
Nice to see another army suffering with me down here in bicohem .
Just watched before exam❤
thanks man
Thanks sir.. ❤
Thank you sir
Banger video
Water act as solvent or mobile phase, it do not acts as a stationary phase. Paper (Cellulose) act as stationary phase.
I'm relatively certain that it is the hydrogen-bonded water molecules (to the cellulose) are the stationary phase in paper chomatography. If water is the developing solvent, then this can, of course, be the mobile phase.
Separation takes place as results of different in partition co-efficant b/w to solvents
Thanxs Sir...
Great ❤
Excellent
Great 😊🤩
Good teaching
2-D chromatography is really interesting
Thank you so much❤❤❤
you are a god
Thank you sir.
Thank you so much some people can explain a topic in a better way like you madam outstanding
Oh 😳 actually she isn't clear so I can't understand 😂🤘🤣
Can understand but not clear
legend
I don't understand
Thanks 👍🏻🙏🙏👍🏻
Easiest explanation
the way he says "chromatography" bruh
Tq sir 🙏
Thank you now I understand what Paper chromatography means.
Tnx..... 👻
I like it
Punten Slurrrr
❤️
Thanks alot
It helps me understand
😙😙😙
Paper is the stationary phase, not water. Water is also mobile phase
No
No bro
paper is the supporting matrix
No
Absolutely no
Water stay rest
I never did 2-D in college. I feel cheated.
thank you!!
يزم انا اجيت لاني مش فاهم اشي على دكتورة ن.ع طلعت انت اعطل منها
didnt help at all
I love u I love u I love u
._.
Haha potangina wala akong nagets🙂
Shit
Thankyou somuch for this video ❤🎉
