my partner and I are thinking of going end of June (I know that’s not ideal weather but it’s the only time we can go)- how would you recommend navigating travelling when you don’t know the language? much thanks if you respond to this 🙏🏻
@@jennavhuang you’ll be fine. I came in august in 2019 in rainy season. Just gotta remember it’s tropical rain so it comes and goes very fast :) it affected our travels a bit but not to much where I wouldn’t do it again
This is amazing, my parents are from Vietnam but I was born and raised in Canada and have never traveled there. This is the year for me to bring my daughter to our families homeland. Thank you for informative video, I will be visiting some of these attractions 💯
This is definitely one of my favourite Vietnam travel guide. I was searching for surfing in Vietnam and your channel came up, what a hidden gem !!! I will definitely need a longer stay in Vietnam next time going back home.
Oh my god. All the creators out there making so many videos and here you are, a hidden gem itself. You deserve so much more. None have done it better. I am shook. I can’t stop complimenting cause this is incredible. The amount of information you’ve provided, the work behind it, the time invested, oh god. It’s remarkable. Thank you. Thank you so much for this.
Roop! thanks so much for this comment. I really appreciate this!! Well this channel specializes in adventure travel :) So alot of hidden gems gets shown to my audience!
I'm glad Kai! Be sure to maybe check out Ha giang, I made this guide before going there but Ha giang is a must. I have video guides on the whole 4 day motorbike loop :)
I am absolutely not climbing a million feet to the top of a mountain. This I can not be talked into. " I would rather soak my hot buns in a cool water " better and AHH ! Feels just Right.
Speding time in Hà Giang for the mountain (recommend you travel in Octorber or November or in spring). and Ninh Thuan (close to Mui Ne - Binh Thuan province).
@@TonyOi Haven't been back over 20 years, planning to retired in Danang (home town) in few years. Continue what you do, great job and looking forward to check out all the places on your video.
Forever out of USA sounds great. I understand why simplicity is vital. I neverwant to come back to the US. I 'need' simplicity without bounds. Just regular people. Being the best is not the only importance. Work disallows laughter and then causes personality defects. I am experiencing it.
You nailed it. They are on my favorite list. I went to some of it and hopefully I will go the rest of it in the future. What's about Nha trang ? I went there twice and it was beautiful.
@@TonyOi Tell ( video) me more about Da Nang fun stuff . I have not been there and am looking forward to visit there in the future. I like Nha Trang because of the nicest beaches and the tour boat to the island.
I think you and I have the same taste. Loved that you didnt put Saigon and Hanoi in the list. More than that, loved you put Sapa in the top1, my favourite place too. I had 2 years lived there. p/s: Have you been to Hue city?
I have been to hue! But I went during winter and it was raining and really cold so I didn’t love hue. I think I need to go back to have a better experience! Well for me saigon is great to live but only okay to travel through. If your looking for amazing food and bars and clubs saigon is awesome but I’m more of an adventure traveler than city!
I am not going in any caves either. There is a slight possibility I could be provoked to say yes. I have been in more than two caves and it is a lot a weirdness. I prefer outside of caves. 'Please, no caves" set in stone by my guests.
Question! I’m going back to Vietnam to visit family for my third time and I purchased a mini dji 2. As long as it’s not around military was it easy for you to use your drone?! I’m just afraid to bring mine but I purchased it just for my trip..
Hi Sabrina, no issues at. Fly with common sense and youll never have any issues. Drones are allowed in vietnam, loads of hobbyists here! I flew from canada to vn with mine :)
This is a great video - thank you! Do you have recommendations in Vietnam for late December for adventure and nature? I have been researching for a trip this year and not really interested in beaches (I live in Southern California) and my understanding is that Phong Nga could have a lot of rain and many wet cave tours susceptible to be cancelled? Ninh Binh will have lower visibility and will already be bananas with tourists? Sapa likely to be super cold and the rice paddies brown, waterfalls in Dalat mostly dried up? Is my research correct?
Hey! Its pretry tropical monsoon so most of the time it doesnt rain all day. But google my gfs blog sotheadventure begins vietnam and itll be more detailed!
Hi love your videos. I am planning this trip to Vietnam this year in September from Vancouver. Is Bai tho mountain really closed? Kind of confused by so many comments on this tourist attraction.
It is forsure closed because some idiots lit a fire up there that got out of control. But if you do a little research there’s a lady who’s house leads to the gate. You can pay her 100k per person and get to the gate through her house. From there it’s just a small little fence u climb under :)
I am looking to travel to Vietnam next month. Have they done anything about extended visas yet? I would like to stay for a few months and have a good look around. I believe there are no restrictions on vax status. Is this true?
My guy those videos were filmed in Mui Ne though lmfao. I’ve surfed in Mui Ne and filmed those videos in Mui ne … so yes there is surf there and wind surfing.

Be careful with the motorbikes it depends on what country they were assemble for, left hand driving or right hand driving. Then you must confirm which brake works the front and which hand brake works the back or you will go head over heels.
