Hi! That's right. They did not seem strict about masks in Da Nang at all. Some people wear it but it does not seem to be enforced. I still used it when i went inside supermarkets and things like that. but even coffee shops and some restaurants are open air so i did not use it then and it was never a problem, Thank you for commenting ❤️❤️❤️

Hi, Dani! How about dress code? Esp when visiting place like Lady Buddha and Marble Mountains? Do you need to wear long trousers/pants and cover your shoulders? Thank you..
Hello! Hopefully, I am not too late for this response. Yes! Please cover your knees and shoulders. I made a big mistake by not covering my knees (I didnt know) and I was criticezed (on youtube, nothing happened at the temple)
Hey, Loved your video! One question - Is it safe to visit Hoi An by 2 wheeler and return at night around 9pm ? Basically, is the road safe for the night?
Hahahahaha! sorry, you are right i did not elaborate. The city get super busy with tourists. All the street carts and stores open up. There is tons of music, street food, they light up lanterns (they call it the city of lanterns). And there is just so much vibrance and energy going on. Is unique really! Super pretty!

I'm Vietnamese, an IT professional who loves travelling too. I've just done my road trip across Vietnam and also found that Danang and Hoi An are my favourite cities. Plan to relocate my life here in the next few years. Next time, when you visit Danang or Hoian or any other places in Vietnam, let me know then I can give you some local good tip. For example, Ban co peak (also in Son Tra peninsula) has breath taking view and very rich and well preserved environment (you can feel that the air there is much cooler than it is in Danang). :D All the best to your digital nomad journey.
@@Viralsbookreviews There are some here on my video, and i also have a travel guide on Da Nang that im happy to share. but do you have any specific questions? 💗💗
Thanks for showing more of Marble Mountain and such. I love how close by those sites are and I'm such a sucker for things like that. The Lady Buddha is also amazing, but you missed the Cham ruin nearby, which overlooks the sea and is just beautiful. I've seen people mentioning how awesome it is to live there and how cheap one can live there and be so close to the ocean. I just need to be brave and make a move is all. :)
You can only move there with a pre arranged job, not as a digital nomad. They told anyone that was living there on a tourist visas to leave during Covid.
You went to the wrong banh mi stand --- yes it's the same franchise; but the one that bourdain specifically went to his next to the market; you went to a different one. The offerings are slightly different too. I had both - and the one bourdain went to is yummier.
Tnx for sharing information about Da nang, thinking of Joining some friends in visiting this place, I originally plan to do a food trip but somebody suggested Da nang instead...but worried it might be expensive here. Maybe you can let me know about the expenses including accomodation. Thanks. More power to your channel
Hello! Well it all depends, since I use American $ it was not expensive at all. In the description of the video I have the contact information of where i stayed and the taxi drivers that helped get around for cheap prices. I am not sure if their rates have changed, so it's best you contact them. I think Da Nang was one of my cheapest stays in Asia
My wife loves My Khe Beach in Danang, we hire a deck chair for 40k and enjoy beers and chilled coconuts. It's been almost 3 years since we were last there. My Khe is pronounced Me Kay not My key.
Loved the video and will definitely go stay some in Danang next month, I do have a question though, did you guys see any Da Cau / Shuttlecock kicking there? Its the foot badminton sport thing. I used to do it a few years back in Ho Chi Minh City, and got super obsessed with it - the most fun i had in my life xD. So I'm curious if people play it in Danang aswell! :) Cheers!
Da Nang is amazing! UGh im sory i cant help with that :( i dont think i noticed it. Also, when we went the city was still recovering from covid's lockdown so not much was going on
Great informative and feel good video. Taking my daughter to Vietnam for her 18th birthday next September. Thx to you Da Nang is now on the short list 👍 Still have to figure out whether scooter or taxi is the better option to move around. Any tips on that?
yayy 💗💗💗💗 thank you! Omg you guys are so lucky! Can't wait to revisit Da Nang. I think taxis are really affordable and easy to handle in the city. You can rent a scooter but its more dangerous maybe and you will not be able to fully rent it legally i think. But with a scooter you can move around very easily. For a short stay there tho i think taxi is okay. have fun!!
Hi Love love your Vietnam video. Just have a question: do you get the Vietnamese $$ (đồng) at the US bank before you leave to VN or you do exchange money when you arrived in VN? Thanks 2) do you have a trusted driver in Ho Chi Minh City too?
hi! not really im not one to follow advice on this one tho. i use ATMS just because i never carry cash to begin with. so when in need of cash i go to ATMS. not the best way to do it. maybe you want to go to exchange spots instead
No way!!! I have people complaining about how bad I pronounce pho 😂 and other things. People from all over the world complain about my pronunciations 😂

Nice video! I notice you are wearing a sweater, what month did you go? Was it cooler temps?
it was a little chilly for sure! we went in the Spring
Beautiful contentm everything we need to do and see has been provided in this vlog. Loved every bit of it ..so we'll explained ❤️
aw! this is such a sweet comment ❤️❤️ thanks a million!
Awesome video! Noticed you don’t wear masks. How strict are outdoors mask rules?
Thabks for taking the time to reply:)

@@dani-moves I'm coming vietnam soon
Thanks
Thanks for calling Saigon

Hey, Loved your video! One question - Is it safe to visit Hoi An by 2 wheeler and return at night around 9pm ? Basically, is the road safe for the night?
Hello! I dont know how safe it is at night bc i dont remember if there are lights on the way. but during the day is def safe, the road seemed safe
@@dani-moves oh okay. Thank you
i think you should go to Hoi An in the afternoon or night, it more beautiful than morning
I agree with you ❤️
Hi it is a great vlog!
Just wanted to know did you took any special permission for flying drone?
Hello! I did not fly a drone. not sure how the rules are in Vietnam, but I have seen other TH-camrs do it.
What happened after 5pm at Hoian?!? Can you elaborate? Did some Cinderella thingy happen?
Hahahahaha! sorry, you are right i did not elaborate. The city get super busy with tourists. All the street carts and stores open up. There is tons of music, street food, they light up lanterns (they call it the city of lanterns). And there is just so much vibrance and energy going on. Is unique really! Super pretty!
Nice video, tks!
Thank youuu! Glad you like it :D
Thank you for posting this beautiful video. Indeed I will be in Danag at the end of May. So thank you for your tips and recommendations. I can’t wait to explore.
Btw, what is the name of your airb&b?
Have fun! YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you for watching ❤️❤️
Don't use Airbnb, the hotels are incredibly cheap at the moment, massive discount
Such a lovely video Nomad
Aw! Thank you Phuong! That means a lot to me. I put lots of love in these videos so im glad you can see it! Da Nang is such a magical town! I love it there. I am wanting to visit more places in Vietnam honestly. I left too quickly. Thank you for your recommendations ❤️❤️ i will go back
Which Thai Market Restaurant did you go to? While searching on the internet, I came across several branches at different locations. Thank you in advance.
I think they will all be good :) I cant remember the name of the one i went to :(

Thanks for watching and commenting ❤️❤️❤️
I will get back to you for sure! I may visit HCMC this year :D
@@dani-moves that’s my city. :D you’re welcome. :D
We r traveling to Viet Nam on 6th August. Would love some tips,. Thnks😊
@@Viralsbookreviews do you have your itinerary yet or your plan is open? What kind of tips do you want?
@@Viralsbookreviews There are some here on my video, and i also have a travel guide on Da Nang that im happy to share. but do you have any specific questions? 💗💗
nice video and very helpful
Thank you for watching and commenting ❤️❤️ Love the Lady Buddha! Where do you live?
You can only move there with a pre arranged job, not as a digital nomad. They told anyone that was living there on a tourist visas to leave during Covid.
Welcome to Viet Nam, keep safe and enjoy your trip!
Thank you for your good wishes ❤️❤️❤️
Hi, great video. But may I ask if the amusement park in Ba Na Hills is open?
as far as i know it is :)
You went to the wrong banh mi stand --- yes it's the same franchise; but the one that bourdain specifically went to his next to the market; you went to a different one. The offerings are slightly different too. I had both - and the one bourdain went to is yummier.
ohhh wow! well thankfully, it was still delicious
Your video is so great, tks!
Thank you for watching and commenting ❤️❤️❤️
Tnx for sharing information about Da nang, thinking of Joining some friends in visiting this place, I originally plan to do a food trip but somebody suggested Da nang instead...but worried it might be expensive here. Maybe you can let me know about the expenses including accomodation. Thanks. More power to your channel
Hello! Well it all depends, since I use American $ it was not expensive at all.
In the description of the video I have the contact information of where i stayed and the taxi drivers that helped get around for cheap prices. I am not sure if their rates have changed, so it's best you contact them. I think Da Nang was one of my cheapest stays in Asia
i just did all the things on your video few weeks ago had a great time rent a motorbike if you can it more fun and save time.
there is also a hot spring close by
YAYYY!!
oohh! where is that?
Nice video! Greeting from Malaysia.
may i know it is ok to fly a done in Da Nang? i am planning to go this coming July.
thanks in advance!
oh im not sure at all :( im sorry! Sending love from Thailand!
Hi Daniela, really enjoyed your vlog. How may we get in touch with your friend who wants to be a local tour guide? :)
oh i dont have her contact :(
but you can find her at the restaurant where i said she works at :)
My wife loves My Khe Beach in Danang, we hire a deck chair for 40k and enjoy beers and chilled coconuts. It's been almost 3 years since we were last there. My Khe is pronounced Me Kay not My key.
Love Da Nang with all my heart 💗
Lol did u put the hoi an bahn mi footage in reverse? They were taking salad out of the bun rather than adding it 😂
lol that’s right!!! You caught it lol
Lived there for over two years.
did you love it???
Loved the video and will definitely go stay some in Danang next month, I do have a question though, did you guys see any Da Cau / Shuttlecock kicking there? Its the foot badminton sport thing. I used to do it a few years back in Ho Chi Minh City, and got super obsessed with it - the most fun i had in my life xD. So I'm curious if people play it in Danang aswell! :) Cheers!
Da Nang is amazing! UGh im sory i cant help with that :(
i dont think i noticed it. Also, when we went the city was still recovering from covid's lockdown so not much was going on
@@dani-moves i see, and thanks tho 😊 I'll just have to go see for myself!:D
Hi, did you hire the car to travel around ? Thank you
We use a taxi, his phone # is in the video description :)
For a short stay there tho i think taxi is okay. have fun!!
I love Da Nang in Viet Nam
LOVE DA NANAG WITH MY LIFE
Welcome to Da Nang
Thank you so much 💕🤩
What is the apt you are staying , Louise apartment? Thanks
That's right! The link is in the description
Hi
Love love your Vietnam video. Just have a question: do you get the Vietnamese $$ (đồng) at the US bank before you leave to VN or you do exchange money when you arrived in VN? Thanks
2) do you have a trusted driver in Ho Chi Minh City too?
hi! not really
im not one to follow advice on this one tho. i use ATMS just because i never carry cash to begin with. so when in need of cash i go to ATMS. not the best way to do it. maybe you want to go to exchange spots instead
Hi
I am in danang and can’t decide from where to start
And how to book bana hills tickets and transfer
I did it all online! Did you figure it out?
You pronounced Vietnamese words beautifully
No way!!! I have people complaining about how bad I pronounce pho 😂 and other things. People from all over the world complain about my pronunciations 😂
She absolutely did not
@@kippsguitar6539 I think for a visitor who just has couple of weeks in Vietnam her pronunciation is better than many other Vloggers.
did you get around via taxi?
that's right💗💗
