Hi Brian great choices I used to think I was in haircut 100 I had the jumper and the leg warmers back in 81. And you’re correct they have been touring recently.. great choices to get the party going. Especially Jason spinning the tunes 👍
I should have said jumper, not sweater 🙂 Even pullover would have been better. I also had a several similar pullovers, but I never owned leg warmers, though I am sure they would be useful in Canada 👍

That Haircut 100 album is a classic and a favorite of mine, a total 80s dancer and the epitome of Preppy fashion. Wild planet is a great one, love that Strobe Light tune! Classic Marley! And his wife makes homemade cheesecake!
Hi Brian, always good to see Haircut 100, great album. Jumpers tucked in to trousers was definitely an early 80’s ‘thing’, at least in the UK. As an 80’s UK teenager I can vouch for that. Plenty of first hand experience! Andy
I do not think I have ever seen a jumper tucked into trousers (and I lived through the 80s), or maybe I was not paying attention! I'll have to take your word for it. Some trends may not have crossed the ocean 🙂
@@EmbryonicRobot 3 of the 4 jumper on the front on Pelican West are tucked in. You can’t see the trousers on the 4th jumper wearer but I’d be pretty confident I know he is styling his jumper.
I guess my question is why? Who has room to tuck such a thick garment into their waistband? So, apart from the album cover, I am fairly certain I have never seen anyone do that 🙂 If I try it, I might like it, I suppose 👍
@@EmbryonicRobot I think it has a lot to recommend it. For example no drafts can get up and under, no jumper hems to get trapped in machinery and pull you to an agonising death. You may need to buy bigger wasted pants though.
Then I am doubly surprised that this fashion craze didn't seem to make an impact here. Getting a -25 degree blast of cold air up your back is horrendous. So, that would have helped a lot!

The only problem is that I do not have a pool at my house or have a nice beach handy. I think watching golf with a hangover would be too much for me, but I am not a golf fan! 🙃

I don't know anything about this Young Ones show! In any case, I can no longer drink heavily or even moderately. I'm strictly a light drinker now. If I ever decide to try heroin, it will have to be on a Sunday morning. It seems like the logical choice!

One of the guys from Haircut 100 teamed up with a Japanese artist named heaco and they recorded two four-song EPs together. I rather liked them both. heaco later recorded her first LP but without the Haircut 100 guy, and I didn’t really care for the music much.
