Not trying to be a jaskazz here but by its very definition a carburetor has a venturi for which vacuum draws fuel through passages into the low side of the venturi. Just because it has a diaphragm acting as a pump which meters fuel to the injector doesn't make it a carburetor ,as far as I can tell? Early Bosch style fuel injection was all mechanical also, like in the Audi 5 cylinders.
Last time I checked the cylinders were not available. I haven’t been a fan of aftermarket ones but I know they are better now I bought one and will try it out
I’ve had Stihl saws since ‘94 , not impressed with the new electronics. Bought a nice husqvarna 372 yesterday for $230, cleaned her all up new fuel line and filter , spark plug, air filter and a 20” bar . It seems to run strong,I tuned the carb a little. I hope it’s a good saw , sure looks funny in with my 3 Stihls . 😁
@@samstoned it depends who you are and what you are doing 😉🙂. a Stihl is more solid than a Husqvarna i have seen lot of Husky's Burn off by running 50:1 mix but not a single stihl 🤘🤘. Husqvarna buy a lot of STIHL'S technology
Got my lady a new vacuum for woman's day...hoping that leads to a new 500i on man's day. 😂
Excellent presentation, Donny. Love how you remember parts numbers. I can't even find my boots.
Can't wait to see the 500i injector torn apart.
Nice saw the 500i 🤘🤘. And cool with the buckin Billy Ray stand up and buck tshirt 👍
Fascinating, Donny! I had not yet seen that. 👍

Here in Europe we can buy each part separately for it. Just changed the purge button on mine.

Great Info Donny!! 👍🏻Nice shirt by the way! 🤣👍🏻 I've heard there's a new oil foam air filter for the 500i??🤔 Any word on these?

The 500i sounds like a piece of junk to me
Its a great saw been running it for over 2, 5 years now with no probloms at all 🤘🤘
They are good only seen a few issues it’s hard on them here in the big meet wood so much fines from fir and cedar gets in to everything

What’s your opinion on the bark box on the 500i? I didn’t really notice a difference other than the noise.
