UPDATE 01/03/2018 Some additional info about the Demon Crate: You must be present for the delivery due to the size and weight of the Dodge Demon Crate. They will call you an hour before the delivery to make sure you are there and they will deliver it on a truck that has a lift.
This is a real Dodge Demon Crate being unboxed. The crate is HUGE and weighs 300 lbs! I personally feel that this crate puts the Dodge Demon in a class of its own and makes it a true collector's car.

Paul Martin the vent has to be ordered when you take possession of the car. The cluster has the race gas button on it, to change from 91 octane to 100 octane.

I am sad that most of these will go un opened and the cars will be garage kept and may never see the road let alone a drag strip. I know what the car is meant for but lets be real..... The people that can afford it are collectors.
Not so true I almost got one for 98k .. just couldn’t grasp spending that much on something I would drive the piss out of alll the time.. I could build 2 maybe 3 or close to it 750+hp cars for that. Not to mention you can get a used cat for well under 50 and let that be a starting point for a monster build. This demon is a beauty tho and would love to have one but not to readable unless your house is already paid off . Lol
I agree with you 50% man, no kidding, but Demon is not a limited production car, FCA will produce it for many years (I hope) and ppl who buy it will be the happiest on the world, I like Mopar, never stops surprising us..but is like u said, many of this Beasts won't be unleashed, so sad

Nice to see the crate and it's contents. I work at Stetler Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and I just did the PDI on a Demon and customer picked it up less than 3 hours from the time it came off the truck last week and his exact instructions were not to remove any labels or stickers and do not wash it. Nice Ride!

Dodge really knocked it out of the park with the Demon Crate. It makes you really feel like the Demon is something special and to have all these things personalized gives you a very special feeling

I could be wrong but I'm thinking the 'trunk matt' is a fender protector for while you're working on the engine. It allows you to lean on the fender and put your weight on it while you get at the fiddly bits of the engine bay without fear of damaging or dirtying the paint/finish on the fender. At the very least, it would perfectly suit the purpose being made of what looks like that foamy/spongey kind of material.
In fairness, it would also make a good boot matt. :)

I both cannot afford a Demon nor have the space for a Demon crate... BUT I WANT THE CRATE, THAT'S SO COOL. Even without the drag wheels, that crate has some seriously useful tools and I love the trunk storage functionality for track days, really cool.

They got the idea from the cobra jet mustangs.... they aren’t street legal or even have a vin. The demon crate was their workaround and this is why it cost 1 dollar.... if it were free and included with the car mother government would be pissed.

I didn't know the info you provided, but am now even more confused about what rich idiot that knows nothing about cars or driving, would want this car. You would look like a fool taking a new, storebought, turnkey car to a racetrack and being humiliated by a 70's woodgrain station wagon that the guy actually built.

Demonology I honestly couldn’t agree with you more. When the demon was announced I had my eyes on the trackhawk but now that the demons have rolled out, Dodge has really taken care of you guys. You have future plans for the demon of keeping it stock for the most part?
I plan to keep it stock. My days of turning wrenches are behind me and I'd rather just enjoy my cars these days. I want to be able to show you guys all I can about the Demon without modding it and try to share my experiences. Props to the guys out there who are modding their Demons (and other cars) to 1000+ hp, but I think that Dodge and their engineers put a lot of love into this car and sharing that with you guys is important to me.

I started with a Challenger SRT 392, I then traded up to a Hellcat which I loved even more, and I was lucky enough to get on the list to get the Demon.

They do. The ones that come with the crate include the button to enable the high octane fuel mode and the air vent is personalized with name and production number for the car.
