I just installed a set of BC Racing on my maxima. i was recommended a 1 inch wheel spacer to get rid of the gap. Mine sits the same as yours and i love it

How come you needed spacers ? I got bc racing too I’m just asking because I haven’t installed mine yet
@@justocruz796 (depending on where you want the wheel to sit width wise) Spacers can just close the width gap between the tire and fender to make them look more flush with the side of the car instead of the wheels being sunk in a bit they bring them out a bit (if thats your goal//it had nothing o do with the height the car will sit at, it just pushed the wheels outwards however much you want depending upon the size spacers you get but absolutely make sure you get HUB CENTRIC SPACERS or you'll have vibrations in the wheels)

On my 2014 max, I've done the front shocks, they came pre-assembled. No problem. Rear struts, no problem. These coils got me nervous but this video makes it seem simple enough. My question is two-fold, did u NEED to take out the struts completely or just take em loose? Then the black piece u put at the top of the coil, was that on the previous coil or did it come with the new one? I'm asking cause it looked brand new and my coils didn't come with them lol also, I'm in Sanford, that shop got good prices? I got all kinds of shyt I'm tryna get done to Maxine lol
Sorry for late reply but I took out all shocks and the rear the top part has to be transferred. The shop is ok but other shops might be better
As a proud owner of a 2010 maxima sv im curious how much power are pushing ?
Not sure but 10-15 more hp. I ran another 7th gen stock and I pulled on him quick. Wish I had the video. Hope to run another one and record it
Did those rear springs come with your coilovers? I was told just to eliminate em when installing the D2 Racing coils.
Yeah it came with it. I suggest don’t delete the springs
@HorsepowerLabs Pro Import Tuners say the coils on the struts replace those. I'm looking at the D2 Racing RS fully adjustable coil overs. I might have to do more research lol. This is the email I received, text copied and pasted. --
Yes, exactly. Those springs will be basically eliminated since the coilover will have it's own spring. When installing the coilovers, simply remove the rear spring for the vehicle to complete the install. Hopefully this helps, please let us know if you have any other questions.

I haven't gotten them yet lol. I just started paying off my $3000 custom headlights from GTA Retrofits. Sent a brand new pair to Toronto in November and just got them back. They're soooo secksee lol. The coilovers are the next item on my to-do list in like a month, and I'm gonna try/see what it does with those big springs out and just sitting on the coilovers. Then the duckbill spoiler is next. I sandblasted my stock rims(18" only unfortunately lol)and powder coated them with Prismatic Powders, Diamond Pearl, which is a perfect match to the Tricoat Pearl and then put a clear coat on called, Shattered Glass which makes em look like glistening snow, man they're so dope lol. Added a set of 370z 4 piston front, 2 piston rear calipers(powder coated Super Chrome with Shocker Yellow clear coat, looks like Anodized green/yellow)with upgraded 14" Slotted n Dimpled rotors. ½" Titan Wheel Spacers in the front and 1" in the rear so she sits nice n fat. Once I get the coilovers I'm doing a walk around just to show it off a bit. It's my show car, bought it last March 28th, made aprox $6k in payments but I've put $10k into it already lol. I'll update with a post/video in a few weeks or so if you don't find out before than. I'm gonna make a video of my headlights quick and post it lol.
Aye bro nice max.. I have a similar problem but my bolt snapped while tightening smh. How did the shop solve your problem?

I use Riaction Coilover and yeah it’s pretty easy to do yourself

I have truhart coilovers for my 8th gen and I got the spring in the back too but with the coilovers do I have to take out that black stock spring or do I leave it and install the coilover struts
Unless it’s true 1 piece remove your stock one and put the spring that came for the rear.
But if your truhart came with the spring on the shock then just remove the stock spring from bucket and install the new Coilover that came with springs on it
