I would put mesh screen on the opening of your intake duct to keep debris out of your engine bay. Obviously you’ll get air regardless but that duct is just big enough you can suck in small amounts of dirt /small pieces of debris from the road & it could do some damage to your engine. Buddy had a similar duct on his car & some chunks of a tire got kicked up & sucked into his engine and smashed around damaging it

I like to run my coilovers a little softer than halfway on the adjustment in the rear and about 6 clicks less than completely stiff on the front so harder in the front and softer in the rear. Lol that last part didn't sound good.

I just bought a 2010 for cheap cause it needs work. Now i pretty much have the new front end and lower. I have 6 bosh ignition coils ngk spark plugs I bought the same light you have from ebay auction for $125. Vulve cover gasket ket oil and filter imma look for the air system you have but air filter new front shocks from duralast. Im not a coiler over person dont like the bouncing. It was hit on the passenger side so I bought a new matching door I had to get a nice piece of the door from cut from another Maxima and welded no paint job Im thinking of matt blacking it. Its already black. Had to also get the rear lower control fix cause it was messed up from the hit. I was thinking of getting a 2019 Maxima engine and transmission. My friend have one thats hit bad in the back so it would be free pretty much. 62K on it. I have 180k on my dash now . But i only paid $700 buck,cause the person didnt want to deal with fixing it. My dash on inside need to be replaced. It looks like shit on the passenger side.

I got a deal on some maxspeedracing coilovers worth 500+ for 300$ i thoufht they were defective or something but every adjuatment i make i get a different issue hahhahaha. Thr biggest mistake i made was my rear left coilover.... I BROKE THE LITTLE KNOB.... on honda civics you tighten in the shock with an allen wrench at the same spot... not with the coilovers i bought... you tighten them with abold under so naturally ... i snapped off the knob...

Still got minor shit to do… but I had my car stock for like 2 years when I got it. I didn’t know much about the car (or car knowledge in general) either. Just that it was whippy but study… I ride hell on turns and curves and the car solid yo…(I previously had civics). I saw ya channel one day and my mod journey started😂 What I’m tryin to say is I’m rooting for you like you inspired me to look at my car with an artistic lens. The best thing you can do for this car is tint, lowering springs, LED bulbs all around including inside, maybe a roof wing, and for looks an exhaust but don't expect anymore power as these car are built with top performance stock and the minute you put a loud exhaust in it you're going to feel the lost of power, so yea best thing for power is to buy yourself a new BMW other than that that's all you can get from this car and all Maximas starting from their beginning of their making, their are fast grocery getters that's it, but to think you're going to make a difference out there in the streets killing dudes in BMW or Audis yea you're going to get a rude awekening, but hey they are nice cars, i had how many damn 5 all together and did everything to those cars to make them just go slower and some maybe a couple HP faster and I spent thousands, so yea don't waste your money on this car for speed as you will lose to anything made after the year 2020 so yea good luck and hope you took this very expensive advice.
