To do this job and not even have running water draining. Well you are absolutely amazing. Oh, my! I think this is THE dirtiest kitchen I’ve seen. That grease and dirt on every surface must have taken 50 years to accumulate! It’s horrible to think that a human being lived in that filth. I love watching you clean, I used to clean dirty houses and apartments when I was your age, I'm 74 years old now I live in my old family home my father and grandfather built its 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms living room huge eat in kitchen family room and large front porch with 6 windows 2 and 1/2 archers of land a big swimming pool and my husband is 72 we both keep our home super clean, and yesterday I mower all our property,,then I mowed the next door neighbor abandoned property I get asked why, well when I keep next door done ours looks better of course I have a riding lawn mower. If we could put into our budget I would hire a lawn service but since we can't I do it, my husband is not in the best shape he's had cancer and wears out fast I could never live In a dirty house!

Hey there. Found you from Midwest Magic Cleaning w/ that place y'all did together a few months ago. What a transformation on this kitchen! I was skeptical on all that grease going bye-bye, but you proved me wrong. Hopefully, this'll be incentive on the landlord to come in and do more of the repairs on the plumbing that are needed. The one who lived there, she must've been super appreciative after seeing how changed it was.

I am always impressed by how you transform a disgusting kitchen into something so shiny! I have learned so much from you, Bonnie, and Mack! And coincidentally, I am helping clean a mouse infested house in rural MS for a veteran for free (he's currently in a VA hospital)! It is very physically demanding and if I hadn't watched your videos, I would have probably walked out before I started but I made it through most of the kitchen and some other rooms. There is much more to do but I am glad I could learn from all of your techniques and recommended cleaning supplies because we sure want to make this project as easy as possible. Thank you for all you do!

I think what you do is wonderful Barbie. So many people will say that it's not their fault these people have children - but in the same breath agree that children are the most vulnerable in our society and we have a duty to protect them.
So many peopl will talk about how they will do anything to protect children - but 'anything' means making one call to cps, rather then rolling their sleaves up and getting stuck in like you do.
Cps is not a nice place for children! Look at the figures of how many children are abused in their care. How many children go from care to prison. What it is like to be kicked out onto the streets at 16/18 with no one. Don't pat yourselves on the back if a call to cps was your first and last intervention in a childs life!
OMG if a family member calls; the kids are in the system and the family member goes wtf. CPS is now hurting the kids the family member was worried about and it is done. The kids are now in the system. Be careful and keep the kids with you, then talk to an attorney first. I keep clicking on Barbie to see how her subscriber numbers are doing. I want to be first to see her reach 100K!🎉
@gregpendrey6711 You are soooooo right! Talk to a solicitor! Remember, cps are about covering their own back. Most families would fail their scrutiny - because to pass it they need to be 100% sure that nothing will ever happen to that child because if it does the blame will fall back on them. Most families won't be sure to be 100% safe all the time.
And without going into loads of detail, no one polices the cps. You would not believe the situations children are put in whilst in their care. They don't have to meet anything like their own standards. And if you care truly for a child and have to watch them go into the circumstances cps has put them in when there's nothing you can do to help them - phew!!!! You know then what heartbreak and helplessness is!

What you did in that kitchen was a miracle! Before I learned the scraper/oven cleaner trick from you and Mack, I used to try to get my stove top clean and just sit and cry. I would have carved my name into my Formica countertop if I thought it would help. You are the experts! Watch and learn folks!! Would you tell Celine Dion how to sing??? Oh man! So sorry about the setbacks. Barbie I used to clean my own pipes in my apartment. I would just screw the darn pipes apart under the sinks, and take a bottle brush, a trash bag and clean them out myself and then screw the pipes back together. I did that for 36 years. I wouldn't recommend that you do that, but that was my solution to the ongoing apartment Management's poor apartment repairs. But I can understand the frustration
