i'm running out of superlatives to use with regard to just how I feel about Mikel and his fabulous band's music, but i'm going to try to extend my run in lauding their importance to me. In almost 50 years of listening to incredible music, I don't think iv'e ever heard a band with such a rich seam of consistently beautiful lyrics, harmonies and melodies. They are for me, the complete package and the world, and most definitely my own, is far the better for having them perform in it.

Such an underrated gem. It's one of their best lyrical pieces. This just might be my favorite TATE song
Once in awhile you hear a song for the first time that makes you feel more alive than you did before, this is one of those songs.

This was my song of the summer of 2020. It just felt so real and genuine. I am glad they are getting so much attention now. I can't wait to buy the book next week and see them in 2021! I am met them way back in 2011 in Tulsa. I have been a fan ever since.

I miss Ana, but quit focusing on her at concerts when she went from her natural brown hair to Blond. She was sort of “ the girl next door” with her natural brown. I guess the Blond didn’t make it with me.
