Odds are this didn't come up as suggested. You came here looking for something. That's how I got here. I still have a broken heart. However, now I know why a broken heart hurts so much.
There's something intensely romantic about a group of musicians playing a beautiful piece in a small setting, immersed completely in the sound, temperments differing but all eyes focused on the moment. It's one of the aspects that make talented ensemble bands so beautiful.
Has anyone else noticed that every member of this band is oddly and wonderfully good-looking? Especially Mikel... I simply cannot look at him and not smile, he's gorgeous.
ArcaneSiren Absolutely. She.s so talented and pretty...like, for real pretty. She doesn.t need all the frilly shit and fake crap. If were into girls i.d have such a mad crush on her. 🍸🍸🍸
The Airborne Toxic Event... Their first acoustic series made them my favorite band. This second is forever immortalizing them as such. Set it in stone, lay the concrete... Utterly awesome band.
I only found these guys a couple of weeks ago. Melodies within melodies, heart wrenching poetry. . . I'm so in love it actually hurts. Thank you, Airborne. Just, I mean, thank you. Julie
Scott Welch You pretty much nailed how their music is so....deep (for lack of a better word). They just pull out your emotions and no matter how hard you try, they.re gonna come out whether they.re tears (i.e. Some Time Around Midnight, i.ve been on both sides of that story) or sing loud and scream....like Gasoline (been there too). I think they.re one of best bands of their generation. Cheers🍸🍸🍸
I have tried several times to watch the "Some Time Around Midnight" video without tears. Impossible. It rips open 4-year-old wounds every single time. But I don't stop watching it, because I'm apparently an emotional masochist.
Still listening in Late 2021!!! What an outstanding bunch of musicians!!!!! I love this band!! And of course, Anna. An epically beautiful woman!!!! Just so happens to be an amazing musician!!! But yeah, great stuff from the Airborne
"I can tell you that you're all I ever wanted, dear I can utter every word you'd ever hope to hear I shudder when I think that I might not be here forever, forever, forever." So magnificent.
This guys are wonderful live. This song however holds bittersweet memories. I had just came back from the Airborne Toxic Event concert. I met the lead singer briefly and the night was perfect. The next day, I was listening to this song and then I was dumped by the love of my life. This song just touches me in a deep way, it got under my heart just a little bit deeper than before. And I thank this awesome band for that.
I am so enthralled with this song, melody, countermelody play. There is a beautiful symmetry to the this music which makes me … nothing short of amazed. Starting 2:30 there is swelling in the power of the music, you can hear the whole song just grow into a powerful and emotional moment for when he begins to sing again. Simply breathtaking!
I love that smirk he gives while singing! Once this song is played on the CW in one of their many shows, gossip girls, vampire diaries etc This will have like 5 million views instead of just 66,069
Fell in love with this band after first hearing, in fact half way through my first hearing of Come On Out around 10 weeks ago and my love is burning stronger with every passing day.
I was watching a rerun of Jay Leno and they were playing. I loved how beautifully poetic the song was and so I had to look them up, and I'm glad I did.
Totally under appreciated group. I miss 2010 these guys, hey rosetta there was so much hope for music. Now I feel it's dead please guys come back with something
Reminds me of the scene in White Noise, a novel, when Jack finds out secrets his wife kept from him which then changes his life through the course of the book. That makes sense since the lead singer named the band after the second section in the book called The Airborne Toxic Event. Awesome book and band.
One of my favorite moments of this song, and especially this version is slight alteration of the lyrics from the final chorus: from "I wanna tell you I can change it when you cry at night but I'd be lying" to "I'll be trying" Both convey completely different song ideals with the change of one simple word at the perfect moment. Optimism and pessimism in the same message. It's wonderful. Personally I prefer the optimistic version, heh.
I like this interpretation. Mainly because it allows me to listen to this song without thinking of my ex. The relationship was pretty much what you just said.
I found this song recently, and keep wanting to hear it again. My heart is played and moved with the strumming and picking of these stringed instruments and raw lyrics. I rarely comment on TH-cam, but I did here because I just wanted to say thank you.
awesome. words get'n changed. especially at the end...'i'd be tryin'...i swear the studio version is 'lie'n'. kinda cool. this is the best song of 2011!
When everything seems like shit in this world (as it does every day), I turn on this video as a reminder that there is beauty, passion, artistry, and a reason to keep slogging forward. I've had many favorite songs, but this is my favorite favorite song.
Absolutely love this clever, talented and creative band. What they say speaks for itself. But is that all there is to life and love? When the passion of this band meets the requirements and giving (instead of taking) of love...wow, it could explode in a new direction.
Odds are this didn't come up as suggested. You came here looking for something. That's how I got here. I still have a broken heart. However, now I know why a broken heart hurts so much.

I agree, they are extraordinary!!!
I saw them at XPN studios in Philadelphia and believe me I experienced the same magic you speak of it will last me a lifetime 💙
OMG you have amazing insight and a beautiful way with words. Do you write?
2023 and still loving this!!!!! Astounding musicianship allround!!!
Word!
This song resonates with my soul.
One of the greatest bands in the history of music and a very underrated band
Has anyone else noticed that every member of this band is oddly and wonderfully good-looking? Especially Mikel... I simply cannot look at him and not smile, he's gorgeous.
This band is absolutely brilliant!!! There aren’t words to describe the emotions their music makes you feel!!
Cheers
I will do whatever it takes to get this song to 2 million views this year
I’ll help with that
2 million✅
Anna is so graceful. She brings the elegance and beauty to the band :D
so much agree
ArcaneSiren
Absolutely. She.s so talented and pretty...like, for real pretty. She doesn.t need all the frilly shit and fake crap. If were into girls i.d have such a mad crush on her.
🍸🍸🍸
Wow, im still listening to this song in 2019. A nice music arrangement and I love the classical music instrument in this song.
Wow, cool story bro
Same 2020

Still listening in 2022!!!! Outstanding!!

Have my tix for the House of Blues Cleveland 2 days before my birthday in October.
Hell yeah
The Airborne Toxic Event... Their first acoustic series made them my favorite band. This second is forever immortalizing them as such. Set it in stone, lay the concrete... Utterly awesome band.

🍸🍸🍸
Mari Mendez my favorite!!!!
Agreed. Their music is so powerful.
Going to see them in Phoenix in 2022
I am totally obsessed with this song. I have to listen to it several times a day!!!!
That girl with the violin is awesome
Not a violin that's a viola.
3 years later u were found dead from madness
These guys are my little slice of heaven everyday. And Anna is my angle =D
the perfect mix of poetry and musicianship. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
I can listen to a hundred other bands, but like a drug, I just can't get away from them...
What a badass band filled with badass talented people.
I only found these guys a couple of weeks ago. Melodies within melodies, heart wrenching poetry. . . I'm so in love it actually hurts. Thank you, Airborne. Just, I mean, thank you. Julie
Scott Welch watch the acoustic version of INNOCENCE the whole 8:28 is awesome
Scott Welch

Every. Single. Time. Especially after a few drinks. But you just have to see her.
Still listening in Late 2021!!! What an outstanding bunch of musicians!!!!! I love this band!! And of course, Anna. An epically beautiful woman!!!! Just so happens to be an amazing musician!!! But yeah, great stuff from the Airborne
Man this deserves WAY MORE VIEWS...
he sings with emotion i love it... this band does great music...
I fell in love with their first album. Their second album has taken it to another level though. Seriously, wow.
I'm amazed the drummer can do so much with nothing but a snare...
The guy's a beast.
The violinist is incredible. I love how she is so into the music that she seems like she shuts the entire world off.
"I can tell you that you're all I ever wanted, dear
I can utter every word you'd ever hope to hear
I shudder when I think that I might not be here forever, forever, forever."

THIS FREAKING SONG IS AMAZING! Nothing like it out there..
This is refreshing. An honest song.
Their songs always give me chills.
this is probably one of the best songs ever in the history of music
This is one of the most amazing love songs I've heard
Other people should watch this, I am pretty sure I am one million of these views. (This was a separate comment by me.)
These bombastic versions of their songs are usually my favorite versions. I wish I could find these versions for sale.
I love that smirk he gives while singing!
Once this song is played on the CW in one of their many shows, gossip girls, vampire diaries etc This will have like 5 million views instead of just 66,069
Just saw them on Tuesday 9/24/2024 and they played this song. They are great live, so underrated.
I have become such an addict to this song. It's so beautiful.
Fell in love with this band after first hearing, in fact half way through my first hearing of Come On Out around 10 weeks ago and my love is burning stronger with every passing day.
Criminally underrated band. To think Taylor swift is a billionaire and these guys are struggling
Absolutely 💯
Agree
It is the distinct difference between signing that contract with blood or kicking the table over and telling them to fuck off, they ain’t for sale.
They aren’t struggling….trust me
what an absolute amazing song in all aspects
Excellent excellent! :-)
Thanks for the good works all good people involved thanks for the lyrics Michael Vinyard! :-)
"Love is defying"!!! :-)
His smirk gets me every time :)
I was watching a rerun of Jay Leno and they were playing. I loved how beautifully poetic the song was and so I had to look them up, and I'm glad I did.
This is going to be on repeat a lot since I found it. Georgeous!
Can't. Stop. Listening. To. This.
God I love them so freaking much.
Best version :D
The verses are so negative but the chorus is so sweet to sing to someone you love
Totally under appreciated group. I miss 2010 these guys, hey rosetta there was so much hope for music. Now I feel it's dead please guys come back with something
Just heard of this band.... breaking through the b.s. in music today. Throwing feelings in the form of words onto paper. Outstanding.
Still the saddest song for me! Gives me chest pains! Love it.
Love this song. I can't stop listening to it. They're such a great band.
OH MY GOD!!! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SONG!!!... congratulations from Colombia
Never fails this song comes up on shuffle when I’m on lunch break and now I’m crying in the breakroom
Just went here on a whim and I loved it
The way this video was shot is absolutely awesome. Kudos to the director.
A true musical masterpiece! Brilliant!
I lose control of my emotions ever time I listen to this song. This is powerful, meaningful music that has gone way to under appreciated.
100%

You haven't fully lived until you've heard this live, so thankful I heard them live twice ❣❣

Perfection. Nothing I'll ever hear can ever top this, and so I keep coming back.
The same

How can these guys not be famous... Was so awesome to see them playing a gig for 250 tho...
Applause Applause Standing Applause!!! Definitely one of my favorite tracks from their upcoming album.
Okay, this just may be my new favorite song!!!!
This version is the best. Love TATE :) They were my daughter's first concert and they played with the quartet! :)
Still amazing, still listening 🤘🤘
I like this interpretation. Mainly because it allows me to listen to this song without thinking of my ex. The relationship was pretty much what you just said.
Heard them for the first time last night, and loved them! Live at Squamish 2012!!!!!
sheer quality, it just keeps flowing, getting totally consumed!
Thank you for showing me this song, Nick. I'll be forever grateful.
I must listen to this several times a day!!!!
This is hands down still the best song Ever! Love ❤️
Seen TATE in Kansas City Missouri, went there never hearing them before , left as a lifetime fan.
This is AMINMAGIFUL. Amazing, incredible, magical and beautiful. Simply - aminmagiful!
Got to hug and talk to Mikel the other night when I saw them. He is a pretty amazing guy. His lyrics are just amazing.
When everything seems like shit in this world (as it does every day), I turn on this video as a reminder that there is beauty, passion, artistry, and a reason to keep slogging forward. I've had many favorite songs, but this is my favorite favorite song.
Oh my gawd! Hypnotically beautiful.
I totally love that they Incorporate classical (violens bass and such)into today's music
That ending is my favorite ending of any of their songs. Each version is so unique
Absolutely love this clever, talented and creative band. What they say speaks for itself. But is that all there is to life and love?
When the passion of this band meets the requirements and giving (instead of taking) of love...wow, it could explode in a new direction.
I just heard this on the radio yesterday and I'm already hooked. "Sometime Around Midnight" hit me same way. I can't stop listening to this song.
Rough voice, great music and Anna with her classic beauty. Wow !!
Anna is why I play violin 🎻 !
Just found this. They keep getting better and better. I love that they do the acoustic week series. Every band should do that. 7 more weeks guys
TATE is the most awesome band to come along in years. I love all the versions of their songs they post or allow on TH-cam.
I saw them in concert yesterday and got to touch the lead singers hand!!!! (: best moment of my life
It’s been 10 years but coming back to this song is so nice
This song hits me every time. I can't stay like this, but I feel I can't leave.
yum, just cant stop listening/ seems like an incite to my soul.
My favorite Bombastic song
Phenomenal. Great song, everything is just so perfect.
finally... REAL MUSIC!
Love this band. Beautiful...
Amazing band! This is the first time I've ever seen them and already got hooked!
What a masterpiece. Shame it's taken me 10 years to find this one.
Better then than not at all
