Awesome job. I just bought myself that parts stand at princess auto. Walked in and there it was in special for 115$ CAD. Had seen it in one of your other videos a while back and had been procrastinating getting one because they were a bit pricey. Man is it so much more pleasant to work with those
Hi Chris, superb job as always with a nice clarity to the clearcoat finish have to say you do get some nice clean jobs in your workshop it just goes to show you can get a nice spray job without a booth as it's all about the prep work👌 Someone told me who owns the Sagola pots that they use a different adaptor to the 3M ones but from what I can see they look the same as the PPS 1.0, I don't own them so I'm not sure🤔
Hi Chris, I know you use mostly UPOL Poducts but have you used TAMCO Products? Thanks! I asked this question a couple of days ago and it was deleted not sure why. Any idea?
Hello Chris, I'm a diy working out of my garage. I've noticed you use different lvlp spray guns. What lvlp gun do you recommend for painting a complete with a small compressor?
Hi sir, you’re a good man. Thank you for what you’re doing . I’m about to go at it repainting my truck at home with the inotek lvlp and a 29 gallon harbor freight compressor. My question : do I need to purchase a 3 stage air dryer ? Or does the little oil/water separator that comes with gun suffice ?
Definitely should have a inline water oil trap. I use a inexpensive one off Amazon. This is the one I use. amzn.to/48X6wyJ You want something like this at the very least and a water trap at the end of the gun.
With the blending, did you previously scour the surface of the bumper before applying basecoat partitally to it? Or did you just degrease it and apply basecoat followed by 2 clears after? Plus 2 layers of upol 9? What time did u wait in between the 2 layers upol? Thx
Collecting materials for my first paint job (full color change) -- For primer/base/clear, would you suggest mixing brands (i.e. upol primer-sealer/nason base/finish1 clear) or sticking with one brand paint system (i.e. eastwood, tamco, or urechem complete kits)?
I never have an issue mixing brands. For warranty purposes they want you to use the same brand throughout but some companies don't make paint. Upol, nason, finish 1 is a good combo
I am very new to car painting and have a question. I used duplicolor filler primer on my bumper (3-4 coats) and I was wondering if it is ok to drive it in the rain and then come back later, sand with 600 and paint. Should I sand it all down and re-prime it or will it be ok if it dries out good? Also, this primer is lacquer is that ok to even use over OEM paint scratches/filler or will it peel?
Very nice bro 👍

Should you primer the back of the new fender

Why the sagola for sealer and not yt 160?
No reason, I didn't want to clean before basecoat
