- AC power supply system isolated or insulated neutral without earthing advantage, the difference between an insulated neutral and earthed neutral system and application is explained in Hindi in this video. The difference between insulated and earthed neutral system is explained showing the effect of 1st earth fault and multiple earth fault or 2nd fault is explained. The difference between grounded and ungrounded system is explained. If the AC supply is already connected to the earth then insulated neutral can be made by using one isolation transformer. AC supply with insulated neutral is used in ships, train engine, chemical industry and telecommunication. Many a times I used to touch live bushings of DTR after isolating it's earth and didn't ever get electric shock but with the concept that the circuit wasn't complete. Surprised to know that even in these conditions Circuit could get complete due to capacitance. Thank you for adding a new jewel to my knowledge.

By monitoring voltage of the neutral. However it is advance subject. This is used in some train engine.

When using an isolating transformer in the insulated neutral, during short Ckt, why the primary side mcb will not trip? sec side mcb will not trip because there electrical isolation. if the primary mcb trips the trafo will trip.

Sir if we don’t repair the first fault between phase and earth in insulated neutral system - in this condition what will be impact in PCB components or they stop working they take stress.?
No problem all will work after 1st fault. But after 2nd fault, repairing becomes must, you can not wait further.

In insulated neutral system, if we test phase wire with line tester, then the small amount of current will flow from line tester & our body and the tester bulb will flow. Then how it is possible that when there is a fault between live wire and earth, the current will not flow?

But Sir in your latest video "Electric shock by walking on the earth road without touching wire" @ time 5:48 , there you have mentioned that there can be a resistive and capacitive effect between primary and secondary and hence there is a chance of shock,
So this effect will play here na, and there is a chance of shock,

MCB will not trip. As MCB require large current to trip.

सर हमारे तरफ घरों में जिस खंभे से लाइट आती है उसमे न्यूट्रल है ही नहीं। केवल 3 फेस वायर ही हैं। न्यूट्रल हमलोगों ने जमीन में गड्ढा करके उससे ली हुई है। अब अर्थ कैसे लें?
