Want her lower register? Carolina, the song she wrote and performed for the movie Where the Crawdads Sing is hauntingly beautiful. The song she sings with Zayne for 50 Shades Darker movie is amazing on both their parts
I always thought about Taylor as a singer, whose songs seem "easy" to sing, but it's freaking hard when you really start to get into it. Perhaps not particularly the notes itself (as some people measure good/hard singing on the riffs you mentioned), but her songs are lyrically dense, and you have to really get those breath techniques right to be able to sing one of her songs! Loved the analysis. Would love to hear from you after you hear/see her live!!!
Ts combines a lot of things that I think you rarely see altogether in one artist. She’s an amazing stage performer, great singer, profoundly talented writer, her songs are deep but also catchy, she writes them 90-99% all herself, and she’s still extremely humble and genuine. She’s the artist of a lifetime. We’re not gonna get another one like ts in a while
I definitely recommend watching the live from Paris versions of this song, as well as Cornelia Street. The bigger the crowd, the more confident Taylor sounds and that is so evident when you hear that version of dbatc after this one.
Taylor’s songs are so deceptive because they sound simple and easy and aren’t necessarily super range-y but they’re actually really hard so sound good singing! Lover, Cornelia Street, I Think He Knows, etc have a lot of falsetto/mix that’s really hard to make sound pretty but she makes it sound so easy
In my opinion her songs are pretty rangey. Not many singers can go down into the second octave then sing in the high fifth within the same songs. Especially other altos like her
@@Veditz287 that’s true! There are definitely ones out there that have a wide range, but I honestly thing the ones that fool you the most are the ones that stay pretty midrange but imo don’t sound good in most people’s voices
@@Veditz287 She's a soprano, not an alto. a Contralto is someone like Annie Lennox or Tony Braxton. Her tone of voice is pretty light and bright that's the indication and her tesitura. Like wildest dreams have 2 octaves, eb3/eb5 and a lot of C5's that she mixed so great otherwise would be screaming the whole song. That is a wide range, now she doesn't use her full head voice range, she keep it up to a G-A5 which is very wise since she's performing 3+ hour shows, Whitney literally kind of lost her voice a bit for singing so high for too long, many opera sopranos, went into surgery because they sang too high, many G6, etc. And they had to change the repertoire to something maximum C6/D6.
So happy I stumbled across your channel! I'm a singer-songwriter and Swiftie and just formed a TS tribute band. What you said about her voice is so true. I struggled for years to sing her songs. The day I decided to sing them as me as opposed to trying to sound like her, was the day I was finally able to sing her songs. Eras Tour x 3, last summer in California. You will love it! It is the most incredible concert experience of my life. The community is wonderful! Enjoy! Love, a new subscriber x
Tay Tay is amazing ❤ she's a great stage performer, a really good singer, a fantastic guitarist, and a wonderful storyteller, her music is the soundtrack of my live ❤ I hope you analise more singing videos of her, I would love you to analise her performance of Who's afraid of little old me, Enchanted, Cruel summer, or any of the songs from the acustic set at the eras tour, and all of the songs I mentioned before are also from the eras tour
If you do more, Taylor. You will see she can get up there with her voice. A lot of songs are different genres. She doesn't sound the same on some albums. She does more runs on some songs.
I think that she was talking about that Taylor has a characteristic singing style and you can find it over all her work, no matter what genre she is exploring, the kind of resources are usually the same
Tbh I don't find her high notes that challenging most of the time. Her lower register though? ^-^" That's challenging to me, especially in songs where she switches between high and low notes. Like, um, I think it was Willow where the chorus is way higher than the rest of the song? I also gotta admit I'm not the best singer and certainly not trained, I'm only singing for myself, so a lot of people might disagree with me. I also have to be careful with Champagne Problems because my voice sometimes cracks when I'm singing "champagne problems" in the low tone she does. Oh, and I also have to agree with what someone else commented: Her lyrics aren't always the easiest either! Or at least the pacing of them? Like the bridge in Death by a thousand cuts. It's especially challenging if you're not a native speaker, so I have to keep even more things in mind than just the words and the pacing. I mess this bridge up most of the time. It's still fun though :D
Taylor is amazing she works so hard at her craft, and l think a lot people just dismiss her as a pop singer but she is so good....and she's a really good guitar player as you said. That bridge is absolute 🔥 moot idea how she does that !
Her phrasing and breathing technique is impeccable. And yes, her songs sits rather high, shake it off casually starts with a d5, etc. This songs have an impact on the storytelling, imagine if she puts all the runs and riffs, which she have done some, it would lose all the meaning and impact of the lyrics. People need to understand that.

This is good, but the same song from Live in Paris is even better, along with Cornelia Street from the same concert. Just her, her guitar, her voice. Fantastic
I’d love to see you react to Taylor doing “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” from the 1989 tour. It’s one of my favorite live performances of hers.
Would so love to hear you analyze Sam Cieri of Nicotine Dolls. Granted they aren’t hugely well known, but he has a really unique voice. He has so much emotional honesty in his delivery.
You should've watched this song but the Live in Paris version. It's so much better. And please react to anything from the Folklore Long Pond Studio Sessions 😊
That bridge has SO MANY WORDS and she has complete breath support throughout. That always blows my mind. Thanks for this and hope to see more!
You sound like you have a singing background too? ❤
@@ZoeyPaigeLunaPhD we all have lmao

The song with Zayne is one of her all time bests! Watching her sing it live (just by herself) brings tears to my eyes.
And her song with the civil wars. Think it was from hunger games.

A magical, musical unicorn sprinkled w/ rainbow-colored fairy dust and I am here for it.
Try watching / listening to My Tears Ricochet - The Long Pond Session -
Lyrics, emotion & her lower register
And try not to cry...
Taylor Swifts song writing is amazing.
Just to give yet another swift recommendation her live version of “how did it end? “is amazing!
Thank you!
I definitely recommend watching the live from Paris versions of this song, as well as Cornelia Street. The bigger the crowd, the more confident Taylor sounds and that is so evident when you hear that version of dbatc after this one.
She has worked very hard at her craft. Her vocals have become stronger and stronger.
I think she’s the modern lyrical genius. Shakespeare. No matter what anyone thinks I believe she is Nobel laureate material ❤

One of my Favorite bridges she’s written!
Taylor makes all her songs sound easy and spoken, but man is it hard!
she’s truly one of a kind. i’ve never heard a bad thing about her from anyone that met her. she’s so humble and kind. and her lyrics are so unique ❤

All of the girls you’ve loved before. I think this song has her highest notes as well as quite a few low ones.
This is good, but the same song from Live in Paris is even better, along with Cornelia Street from the same concert. Just her, her guitar, her voice. Fantastic

Hi i have a suggestion, could you react to slovenia's 2024 entry of eurovision? it got some amazing vocals
How was the concert? I was at the three in Stockholm. 😊
I hated when people make blanket statements without having really listen to her albums.
Agree with you. Funny that I have heard all of them though....
Peace. Long pond sessions
please react to zayn alienated live performance for the tonight show
danggg I wish I had a higher larynx
I'm surprised you think all of Taylor's songs are about the same. I think she's very versatile.
From a chords standpoint they are very similar. I am not meaning it in a negative way, they are very very similar
Very interesting that you're reacting to Taylor Swift, but good!
She’s a weak singer, stop lying
She’s grown and her voice is maturingjust like Mylie Cyrus and her voice will get better and better. Watch. A fine wine I’m telling ya
I saw her last year at the beginning of the tour. Looking forward to hearing what you think after you go to the show! 🫶
