Hello good sir. Great work out there! Keep striving for the best my friend. I was thinking you might want to encourage your guys to avoid using the claw of your hammer to "cut" straps. They might damage a structurally-engineered piece, made of components that were hand-picked to avoid defects that could compromise it's integrity. They're designed to regionally-specific **minimum** standards for withstanding the roof loads it might face, so the building doesn't collapse on people. If we''re not careful, we might loose focus of the big picture that God is wanting us to learn. We might start putting too much focus on speed and bottom dollar instead of a quality product that people need. That's a very admirable job to do. Be safe out there! I wish you all the best!

I can see your point about using a hammer to cut the straps. I would disagree that it causes that much damage to the truss, but it is an area of improvement. We are all wanting to get better at our craft. I have seen the guys go a little too far at times, especially if the straps are loose, causing them to be harder to cut. Old habits die hard, but we will continue to get better. Thanks for the input.
