    We have 7 dump trailers. We love it. They are easier on the driveways because they are on tires and not metal rollers, they take less overall space to drop and hook. One breaks down you grab another. And you only back a trailer 1 time. Hydronic system is only used when dumping (not #1 loading at yard, #2 unloading at job, #3 loading at job, #4 dumping at landfill, and #5 unloading roll off). And no winch to deal with. The trailer and roll off combo weight more. Note: registration is not much and the trailer tires are used on that one trip for that 1 trailer not for the 7 trips if we had roll offs. So ideally, 7 sets of tires last you 7 times longer than the one set on the roll offs.

      I was thinking the tire comments weren't very valid because the trailers travel the same distance to the customer regardless

    I’m pumped you made this video. I’ve asked people and did my research and unfortunately I’m still torn between the two. Because of start up money reasons, i think i will go with the dump trailer to start, and God willing work my way up to the roll off trailers..... if money wasn’t an issue I would get the roll offs. My business is demolition/ junk removal and cleanouts but my goal is to rent out my dumpsters also for the extra and all year around income. Any suggestions or guidance is always appreciated and thanks again for all your videos

      I heard that customers usually complain about the roll-off damaging their driveway.
      I think starting with no rooftop dump trailer, would be ideal.

    • @AR-ye8gm
      @AR-ye8gm 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Amy-of5lo i work for a roofing company part time where all we use is roll offs. We never get complaints because the dumpster company my boss uses puts wood down. I would take the same approach. But if you don’t use wood, yes you totally will ruin driveways especially paver driveways

  • @randyking1704
    @randyking1704 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I really like that you use both. Yes the registration is there but the tires I disagree. This is just my opinion of course. Dump trailer you drop and go ,roll off you pull back to yard to get another dumpster. This is double the miles for every drop,and every pickup. Again just my opinion. Thanks for your video
