My ex whom monkey branched is trying to swing back to me now and says she misses talking to me each day and doesn’t understand how I am healed from the trauma and a better person but she hasn’t healed one bit and I have for our son offered financial help for her to get proper counselling to deal with child hood trauma. Yup, same here! All coaches encourage to take ex back after rebound relationship aka monkey branches except Paz and Weave told me, to never accept them back. As much as I love him, I finally rejected him when he came back during no contact. Mind you, I begged and pled him to stay in the relationship. I got a new job, went back to school, got scholarship, went back to gym. I'm leveling up and I feel good!
I’ve come to terms with the fact that most people are simply unintelligent. Realizing this, it’s hard to take anything personally. You can realize this when you start cold approaching and discover that there are attractive people that are attracted to you, and some that aren’t. There are ugly people attracted to you, and some that aren’t. This shows you that the hierarchy, especially in regard to women judging men, is incredibly subjective (much more than men assessing women). You can’t make a rock fall in love with you. Therefore someone loving you isn’t an objective assessment of your value.
My ex dumped me 7 months ago and just found out she cheated and monkey-branched into a new relationship that is apparently thriving. I was heartbroken and grieved, but this has helped me. I can’t control what happened, but I can control my reaction. As much as I want them back, I wish them well and trust that the universe will lead me to who I deserve.
