Whew - that’s a relief. I was about to start asking some questions. Usually Viseart has the best shelf life so when I saw 6 months I had to do a double take.

You don’t need a new camera. The camera is seeing three things: 1) the mirror to your left is reflecting a few leaves that are moving on the background. 2) the back is lit brighter than you are, so your camera sees it better. 3) you are close so the depth of field is more shallow.
Add more light to you, the subject, and set on manual focus. Or set a smaller aperture, which will make it easier for you as your depth of field will be deeper, so your camera won’t have to hunt.
Those swatches are some of the best I've ever seen on TH-cam. I'm very impressed by the performance of the shadows.

Viseart truly takes such time in everything from quality of the pigments, packaging, and placement of the pans. Amazing. And really for the price I think it’s reasonable. It’s expensive don’t get me wrong, but the amount you get along with the quality I think is well worth the price.
Even if they came in crappy packaging, just how the mattes feel and blend would make them worth the money.
Tina Bina Bear I are vs just putting out a million palettes. Which is why I think the price point is reasonable. If you think about how other brands produce palettes every 3 months that run about 50, and some are a hit or miss or so many formula and production problems. I can appreciate the price of this palette when you realize what they put into it, and it’s quality over quantity.

I have this palette in my pro kit, I absolutely love it. And I have tried other mixing mediums but the Esum one is my favorite so far. I love that it isn’t thick and it completely sets my eyeshadow and even liner. I’m gonna order their primer next. Totally worth the investment on this palette. I don’t think I need any other shimmers now!

Steph, I just want to take a moment to thank you for doing these extensive reviews! I also love the interviews you do with Alphonse and the Muse brands when there’s a new release. It was so helpful to see the palette in action. I bought mine and am already in love! His and Anastasia’s explanations on the formulas were incredibly helpful.

I'm so glad to see this review. I've been waiting. I have the matte Grand Pro, but I'm on the fence about this one. You always help me to decide! I'm definitely not irritated about paying for the sleeve. I'm glad to have it. I think it's the classiest packaging of any palette I have. But like you, I think they should have kept the price the same and pocketed the money. Instead they wanted to be as ethical as possible. Unfortunately, a portion of the makeup community can be strangely unappreciative about things like this.

Chameika White, I LOVE THEM! They really are the best mattes I've ever used. I have all of the 12 pan palettes and I'm still glad I got them.
Tammy's Ageless Beauty raves about the matte palette. She is 59 yo and they looked amazing on her.

I was skeptical coming into this vid, the colours didn’t appeal to me until they were swatched.. very beautiful... I have two Viseart palettes and I may need to get the first Grande and this one... I won’t need any other palettes, these seem to have all the colours covered!

I so much I admire your integrity, Steph! I bought this palette, and it is so beautiful and blends so well. I had very little problem with fallout so far. I love the thought that went into the layout. I almost feel guilty for using it because it is no longer pristine. I kind of wish I bought a second one just to hang on my wall to look at all the time.

Ok, I had to come back and comment that I ORDERED MINE TODAY!!!! I am so elated, because I have the first one, so now I’m cutting myself off of buying makeup for a full 12 months (my fiancé says I’m a makeup hoarder, and I absolutely am. I have every type of makeup x100, more than I could use up in 5 years probably). I figure with both of the Grand Pro Palettes, now I can pretty much do any look I want. So that is how I am justifying this luxury purchase (plus I’m not telling said people who think I absolutely have enough makeup already). That is all, just so excited because this looks GORGEOUS!!!
