The Viseart company has historically shown a great deal of integrity and professionalism. Stephanie Nicole has made no bones about their 12 pan shimmer shadows not being her cup of tea, and yet they continue to work with her without prejudice. Despite the fact that you can't please all of the people all of the time, they certainly seem to appreciate honest feedback, and they also appear to listen and respond to their consumers in a very real way. Their Theorys and Petite Pros, their adjustment in packaging of their 12 pans, and even these Grand Pro palettes are good examples of this. For some reason their products are often met with very strongly mixed reviews, and seem to be strangely polarizing in the youtube makeup community. But love them or hate them, they are unique in the makeup industry. I fall squarely into the love them category. I love their products, and I love the company. They have remained among my very favorite shadows, easily holding their own in my heart even against my Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath shadows.
Your eye looks are always stunning Mel, and I really relish these reviews and demos. You are a true artist, and your honesty is always appreciated.

So true. That’s why I love supporting them. To be pedestrian, they are not douche bags. going after creators who are critical of their products.
I just wanted to add a little note about pricing. People talk about $175.00 being expensive (which it is,) but for 30 shadows it certainly doesn't seem like a bad bargain. Not when you consider that a quad from Charlotte Tilbury or Tom Ford can run you between $58.00 to $88.00. And while I know some people love those shadows, there are plenty of folks who feel that they seriously under-perform. Or that they only really love or use two or three shadows out of the four in the quad. It all boils down to different preferences IMO. But no matter how you slice it, the Viseart shadows give a pretty big bang for your buck.
Of all the brands, Viseart actually listens and tries to make the consumer happy. I love it. Such a loving brand. They actually love my pictures and stuff. Likes and followers don't seem to matter to them. Which is lovely. ❤️

I'm impressed with viseart's confidence in the quality of its product. To know that you had stated flat-out that you didn't like their shimmers and to be confident enough that you would actually like their new products if given a chance and generous enough to send them to you is outstanding in my book.

Viseart should be very pleased with your review. You gave them every chance. And you were equally honest with your viewers. This product is too much work to interest me. And I’m glad that you mentioned Pat McGrath because the reason she’s so popular is that we can get very foiled, dramatic looks without even wetting a brush. However, I’m impressed with the way Viseart treated you. Their respect for reviewers and subscribers is admirable. So I’ll be on the lookout for products from them in the future.

All the looks today were stunning! I think that your attitude with these products is very professional. When you have something to say, you say it honestly and normally caveat the opinion by adding "in my opinion" or "specifically on my skin..so it may work for you..." type phrases. You always qualify your decisions and don't critique in an insulting way. I think you will always have a good relationship with companies that truly are wanting an honest critique in order to make a better and more customer satisfaction product. Kuddos to you and to ViseArt for working together. I have their first two palettes that you recommended a couple of years ago. I still reach for them when I wear eye makeup. I'm a Viseart junkie and the Cool Mattes 2 is my every day palette. I use it on its own or to build upon. As a company, Viseart takes care of their customers, the founder Anastasia, is on social media interacting with customers, MUAs and makeup lovers every day. They're products are carefully curated and they constantly ask their customers for suggestions and feedback. It's just so nice to see a brand that is not involved in any drama, that creates original and creative products and is as customer focused as they are.
I like that they reached out and weren’t trying to bash or ask you to put out a better review. I also love that you treat every review with such integrity. I’m super excited to see this even though viseart is slightly out of my price range.

I truly appreciated all the looks..ideas for me to duplicate. FYI, I used their ESUM medium as recommended for row 2 and 6. It works beautifully. Even better than glitter glue or wetting the brush. I’ve been wanting both the Viseart Pro and Pro 2 palettes but the price tag and the Formulas had me waiting for reviews on them. I still want them, they are beautiful! Your explanation cleared up some questions I had and I think I would be able to work with them.
I've had the Cool Mattes 2 palette for awhile, and it's definitely a good palette, but I was struggling to come up with looks and I'm so so happy you did this video!

I think it would be cool if they separated each of those into 6 separate strips kind of like the Natasha denona 5 pan palettes and sold them separately for $30 those pans look nice size and the price would even out that way as well and people that like there smaller palettes would be happy as to 💚💙💗💜💛

Mel thanks for such a thorough and honest review. I had seen another review on this viseart palette when it first came out but it was swatches and the youtuber saying how gorgeous the palette is but she is someone who never uses the palette at all but purchases everything in the universe especially high end products and will give it a good review after swatches and using it once to never be used again. When you give a review I know you use the product and know what you are talking about and try and purchase items that are good quality and you don't purchase makeup just to purchase it! So now I really know what this palette is all about and I appreciate you being so honest.

Seriously, I've wanted this palette since it came out. Unfortunately, I live alone on disability and just can't afford it. I'm half metal and have double breast cancer so I don't have anyone helping me out. I absolutely wish that they reached out to mere mortals to try their products. Love the thorough review! I personally don’t mind working with shades that pop. I use a mixing medium and glitter glue for messy prone shadows and they are a great help 👍🏼 I loved all the looks especially the one with the green peachy and ballet pink inner corner look!! 😍😘💕

All of the Esum brushes you mentioned are natural hair. The two shader brushes are sable, and the crease brush is goat. I have several Esum brushes and I really like them.

I loved all the looks you created - just stunning. My fave is the last one. Not sure if I will buy the shimmer palette even though it's gorgeous. I have one Viseart palette and truthfully, I am not crazy about it so that makes me hesitant to purchase. Just received my Pat McGrath palette and did the red eye look like you showed us but with the purple shade on the bottom eye area. I love it so far. Thanks for all your info.

@@nykka3 It is called the Sultry Muse palette and I've had it for 5 yrs and have only used it about 5 times. Just doesn't impress me, perhaps it's the colors.

Hi Mel! The looks you’ve created are beautiful! I bought the Viseart Pro vol 2 palette and returned it. I didn’t like the texture of many of the shadows. I also didn’t buy the mixing medium....maybe I should have. But I do love all of my other Viseart palettes 🎨👌

I live in tops with thumb holes all winter!! Also, I wish I could be as creative as you when coming up with color combos, your eyeshadows are always amazing
I like the choice of Viseart. Instead of mixing the pigments with liquids (PatMcgrath) or with oils (ND, ABH) with shorter expiration date, they provide pigments to be bounded by the user. I like a few of these colors. I’m a matte girl so I won’t purchase. Moreover I think this is really a palette for professional work (more than GP1), since it requires time to use the mediums and prepare the actual eyeshadow to apply.

I have this palette and I love it! But I use the inglot duraline for every shade. I don’t mind it because I love shimmer and love having it all in one palette. Love your reviews and your looks!
You know I actually liked this palette a lot. I'm not a fan of squishy foil shimmers or shimmers that are buttery so these were right up my alley dry and subtle.....and If I wanted a foiled look I could also achieve it just by wetting the brush. sooo yup. I'm glad you were honest though =) that way people know if they are willing to work with the formulas.
