Then when you beat the dragon ball Z area, you get a branching story decision meaning you choose whether to go down super’s story or GT’s story, but after completing one, you can go down the other path, but keep what you’ve learned from the first story. So fights with ssj4 Goku vs beerus and ssb vegito vs omega shenron would be fun lol

DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was the best DB game ever. I wish they will make one day a remake of this game with all previous characters + all good DBS characters... that would be just too good :D

They did an Amazing job letting DBZK look like an actual anime. It really adds to the experience and I hope future games will embrace this kind of style. So that anime games don‘t have that eery look they have nowadays (and please...never ever do a jump force style again ^^‘)
When I 1st saw Kakarot's graphics I thought it looks like a PS3 game, but now I see that not only was I wrong, but also that sometimes the animations are so fluid that it looks like a damn CGI intro for the PS3 games!
Kakarot only has visuals going for it. Other than that it's just below average in terms of everything else. And even then the cell saga got treated dirty and buu saga isn't much better
Dbx looks like that because it has to ace flexible character models that are customizable and always changing. Like cac or custom mentors. Kakarot is totally different so it had total creativity over graphics sorta like fighterz

To be fair, xenoverse abilities are made to fit multiple models like a true rpg. Kakarot is semi-rpg, where everything is tailored made for specific characters.
An unbalanced action-RPG style game, a saga about a race of flying battle-mages, influenced strongly by other titles like that, where you just chill and get constant buffs, just watch your characters obliterate enemies with ease. Almost every story fight makes your main chars level up and get new skills that help you end the fight faster. You punch them in the face and do crazy combos with ONE button. If you're advanced enough, you hit a modifier key and get ki blasts or stronger punches. You get ripped so fast, that it does kind of feel like manga and anime, they were super weird when it came to power levels, with Goku going from just "over 9000" while fighting Vegeta, a while later defeating Freeza at 1mln... Toriyama never cared for power balancing that would suit games or make sense. Kakarot is kind of like Path of Neo....
The Graphics from Kakarot is much more pleasing,clean and is eye candy Never liked Xenoverse's graphics..Characters looks TOO shiny and glossy But Both has some good animations overall.
I think the thing everyone likes the most about dbz kakarot is that when you transform, or attack, it doesn’t zoom in on you and take you away from the fight like xenoverse does, which makes you way more immersed. And the fact that when you transform in dragon ball kakarot, you don’t turn entirely golden

We want different Frieza forms, Buu forms, Namenians get a mode where they heal themselve my time or something, and earthlings are getting Access to a thing that is like Potential Unleashed a lil different and stronger
I think particle effects and ki attack effects look generally better in DBZ Kakarot (with the exception of spirit bomb, which still looks really decent in XV2, and the fact that it even lingers and do a multiple hit more closely mirror's how Goku's enemies behaved when hit by the attack, as they almost always try to push it back). Art style I'd have to say Kakarot is better in the sense that it looks more clean and more closely mirrors the anime/manga's style than XV2 (it is by the cyberconnect guys so no surprises there). I did notice that ki charging while in SSJ does not produce the golden aura in DBZ Kakarot the same way that the anime did. XV2 caught that so I'm kind of surprised as to why Kakarot didn't catch that detail.

LOS Damn I have to disagree with you there. Had some tough and fun fights, probably because I played like Goku and fought the strongest opponents no matter how under leveled I was. And even the easy fights make me feel badass, but I'm sorry to hear you don't enjoy the game as much as I do.

Kakarot is the best latest dbz game, u can really feel the level gaps in the characters as u fight just like in the anime/manga, for example, one mission you are gohan fighting along side of piccolo and krillin against napa, for me he was a bit difficult to fight but on once u play against him as goku you can really feel the power gap goku had against the other finishing nappa off with over 3/4 health

my thoughts exactly, the combat should be improving because this is an RPG, not the other way around. if the RPG makes the combat no better or worse, then the RPG is a waste of time. there are plenty of good examples for an RPG system that blossoms gameplay. dbz while really close to being a great rpg game, it just doesn't work that great because the AI is kind of rigged in some fights to be less compliant. i want there to be real benefits from perking up and buffing stats, especially when the AI can super out of almost every situation.

The visual effects would be really next level if they implemented better hair flow mechanics. Like when flying, powering up, or firing kamehameha waves the character’s hair would fling giving it a better sense of immersion.
What I don’t like about kakarot is that the super saiyan ki is still blue yet seconds of charging later they show it to be yellow, yet you still charge with blue ki.

Just subbed, my favorite is DBZ kakarot, the story, the graphics, everything about that game is cleaner, better, and looks way cooler, more detail, Xenoverse 2 has fun combat, but, Kakarot has detailed combat, making it feel like the anime, how over the course of the game, as characters get stronger and change, so does there move set, I love this game! 😃

I think particle effects and ki attack effects look generally better in DBZ Kakarot (with the exception of spirit bomb, which still looks really decent in XV2, and the fact that it even lingers and do a multiple hit more closely mirror's how Goku's enemies behaved when hit by the attack, as they almost always try to push it back).
Art style I'd have to say Kakarot is better in the sense that it looks more clean and more closely mirrors the anime/manga's style than XV2 (it is by the cyberconnect guys so no surprises there).
I did notice that ki charging while in SSJ does not produce the golden aura in DBZ Kakarot the same way that the anime did. XV2 caught that so I'm kind of surprised as to why Kakarot didn't catch that detail.

@@harshlens completely agree about FighterZ. It's the first DBZ game I've honestly enjoyed since Budokai 3. I did like Burst Limit for the PS3, but hated that it stopped at the Cell saga. FighterZ was worth the wait.

Kakarot has the advantage of being a single-player experience, so attacks can be as cinematic as they like, within reason of course.
I'd forgotten how badly Xeno2 made my eyes bleed, Kakarot was a breath of fresh air.

I know right, also they need the essential cut scenes and jokes that were in DBZ. Like when Goku came back after the fight with Frieza. I'm pretty sure he used his instant transmission to steal Rosgi's glasses. I was kind of disappointed with stuff like that. It would've made the game 5 times better.

Kakarot is the best latest dbz game, u can really feel the level gaps in the characters as u fight just like in the anime/manga, for example, one mission you are gohan fighting along side of piccolo and krillin against napa, for me he was a bit difficult to fight but on once u play against him as goku you can really feel the power gap goku had against the other finishing nappa off with over 3/4 health

Xeno 2 focus more on creative fighting abilities and move’s to improve on battle but Kakarot focus more on story and filling missing traits, And one character in the series, also open world rpg. Plus Improving attack at level 3 to have new abilities and hidden combos. Idk much but tell me something idk or fill in.

my thoughts exactly, the combat should be improving because this is an RPG, not the other way around. if the RPG makes the combat no better or worse, then the RPG is a waste of time. there are plenty of good examples for an RPG system that blossoms gameplay. dbz while really close to being a great rpg game, it just doesn't work that great because the AI is kind of rigged in some fights to be less compliant. i want there to be real benefits from perking up and buffing stats, especially when the AI can super out of almost every situation.

I actually like more some of XV2 Super attacks because in DBZK the cool animations only appear when the enemy is stunned :( if not it is just as VX2
The visual effects would be really next level if they implemented better hair flow mechanics. Like when flying, powering up, or firing kamehameha waves the character’s hair would fling giving it a better sense of immersion.

What I don’t like about kakarot is that the super saiyan ki is still blue yet seconds of charging later they show it to be yellow, yet you still charge with blue ki.

And some characters in xenoverse have their hair wiggle around like Kakarot during flying (Dlc characters, Gogeta Ssj, Bardock etc...)

Just subbed, my favorite is DBZ kakarot, the story, the graphics, everything about that game is cleaner, better, and looks way cooler, more detail, Xenoverse 2 has fun combat, but, Kakarot has detailed combat, making it feel like the anime, how over the course of the game, as characters get stronger and change, so does there move set, I love this game! 😃

Ki charge in Xeno verse 2 (and transformations) felt more powerful during their transform/ ki charge
Bt3 did all this so perfectly it's near impossible to be impressed by somethibg after that. Remember your opponent charging towards you and you just release a chared kamehameha to their faces.

You can do multiple combos fight in your own creative ways chain attacks its freaking amazing.
