My gosh when i put mods of the original z in xenoverse 2 the intro cinematic in bardock, it was like playing for the first time.
For multiplayer I would recommend Xenoverse 2 but for immersive single player experience there is no dragon ball game that can come near DBZ kakarot it's just that good

People gotta realize, kakarot has specialized movies for each character, so if animations are better it’s because those are only meant for one character while in xenoverse they have to work with everyone and every CaC and against every character. Like look at how goofy Toppo using his head crushing super attack on someone as huge as Broly, and then on someone like a saibaman

The technology's also a lot more dated. It's by no means a copy-paste, but Xenoverse 2 is working off of the same engine Xenoverse was in 2015. If Kakarot didn't look better, I'd be gravely disappointed.

What I'm trying to say is, that ain't an excuse. Kakarot uses the same animation for every non SSG/SSB Kamehameha/Galick Gun/Final Flash. It looks a lot better despite being generalized.
Before you bring CaC proportions into this, need I remind you that the CaCs are nearly identical to the main characters? If something works for Piccolo or Jiren, it would work for a CaC. They work because of CaC proportions, not despite.
At the same time though xenoverse 2 could just make xenoverse 3 since the game developer's made xenoverse 2 the 1 year later after xenoverse 2 came out and xenoverse 2 still makes dlcs so they have no excuse cause they could do a whole new dlc with the graphics looking outstanding cause its made by the same developers
I like playing Xenoverse 2 purely for the ability to make your own character and achieve all the transformations with them. But in terms of normal DB characters, I think I prefer Kakarot purely because I think the character models/animations look a lot nicer. But overall I really enjoy both games.

For game play, I love Xenoverse 2.
Graphics obviously go to Kakarot, but then again it's made by the same studio that did the Ninja storm games, so of course they'll look amazing. I'm honestly just tied between both games, cause what it really comes down to is if you enjoy the games.
The problem with kakarot, it's that he only has single player, after going through the story mode, you didn't have much to do, in xenoverse after completing the campaign, you have a lot to do, and even through all of that, xenoverse looks pretty decent if you have in mind that he isn't a game centered on his story mode

I feel like the deeper colored super saiyan blue color means that its more mastered, like when goku first used it in ressurection of F, it looked a lot more cyan than blue, but lets take, i dont know broly movie goku, it was a darker color than from when he first used it.

Background and fighting animation and effect looks better in kakarot. But character models are so much better in Xenoverse 2. I love the detailed skin highlights and style of Xenoverse 2.
Both amazing games. Still. Neither of these are better than DragonBallZ Budokai Tenkaichi 1-3. Although I have to give more credit to Xenoverse for changing up the story. I know we will never get tired of dragon ball. But it does get quite old playing the exact same story mode for the last 20 years.
If only you used the actual music from kakarot.

Seeing from this gameplay I could say kakarot is like the modern version of supersonic warriors engine from gba and boss fights of kakarot is very similar to super sonic warriors 2 from ds using modern technology but the similarities are obvious!!! The downside of kakarot is there is no pvp or p vs computer which you can choose a character, an enemy and a map! Story mode is the bread and butter of this game and the art style which is very similar to the anime compared to DBX2,, while Xenoverse 2 has the advantage of having pvp or player vs computer which is fun even after you finished the game and wide variety of character customization!!! while kakarot gets boring after story mode is finished!
Devs! Please just give us a Xenoverse game with a kakarot art style or give us offline battle similar to Xenoverse 2 like player vs computer and training mode in kakarot!!!

Dbzk beats all the dragon ball games when it comes to comparing graphics.
Imo FighterZ is better overall, DBZK has cool particle effects but the hair models for Goku just looks weird to me, especially SS3, and also that the shading doesn't look as nice because it doesn't have readable shapes and that it looks weird sometimes.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is the Best Game ever I finished it 5 times now I love that game
after playing both games, i can say this:
the dbz kakarot part of the comparison is using the cinematic/stun versions of the moves, not the normal versions like xv2 is so it isn't fair
you can't stand on the ground mid-battle in dbz kakarot
the vid uploader is using a buffed version of basic combo from the dlc in kakarot
god kamehameha is from a dlc, super kamehameha is already in dbz kakarot
whatever, dbxv2 is utter garbage. It is basically like pouring acid inside your ass while looking at your girl cheat on you

@@user-ub2tc1mt1y Look at Gokus hair at 1:34, 3:31 or 4:44. Goku in the revamp mod has some extra bangs on the back of his head while this one doesn't. That are the normal XV2 graphics and models. You can simply compare the hair with the pictures of the mod page.
