These legends of wrestling games are still better than legends of WrestleMania game Andy kaufman was great heel of a bad guy wrestler in his time and Showdown Legends of Wrestling on playstation 2 was my favorite game of all time.
I agree I would much rather play old wrestling games then new wwe 2k games because I try the new wwe 2k19 see not a great game and I'm going to try one more wwe 2k20 when its come out and that will be my last wwe 2k game and then I'm going back to old wrestling games.
To unlock The British Bulldog, Choose Dynamic Kid in career mode, To unlock Owen Hart choose Bret Hart in career mode, To unlock Bruno choose Hulk Hogan in career mode, But I had the PS2 version.
Rowdy Roddy Piper defeated Hulk Hogan in 1996 at Starrcade, and then again in 1997 at Halloween Havok. Piper holds the most victories over Hulk Hogan than anyone else in history.
I like how they gave us the option to recreate this feud, this feud is iconic, sure it wouldn't have worked today but for the 80s, it was a classic.

Showdown was underwhelming in my opinion as the gameplay was too glitchy and hard to play and it doesn't have a decent campaign mode
