- Geometry Dash's Achievements were never too crazy before 2.2 came out. There were a few tough ones, but nothing could prepare us for the INSANE new achievements that dropped with 2.2.

The achievement where you have to rate a certain number of levels has to be the hardest for me, simply because I don't go out of my way to rate any levels unless I actually like them.
When I was stargrinding I did a little rythmic thing. I would beat 5 levels then rate 20 levels in the recent tab. And kept doing thay over and over again until I reached 2000.
I just got this achievement yesterday actually! I did it while playing Mario Kart online since the break between races gives time to rate ~20 levels

I have a serious question.
Beside the achievements, can you beat daily levels you've missed in the safe? I've been thinking about this for a while in 2.1 era, I thought 2.2 will make it possible with the safe feature. If not, then the top players who grinded every daily level since the very first day of 2.1 physically can't be matched if you didn't care or have much skill for dailies. That's unfair IN SO MANY WAYS.
No.. dailies and weeklies in the safe dont give you rewards.. the safe just shows you that those particular levels were daily/weekly at some point @@user-tm5st6zt7g

A lot of these new 2.2 achievements are just a long grind but I agree that getting a rated level is still the hardest achievement. It’s odd Flub didn’t mention the new get up to 160 secret coin achievements because you have to suffer through more of the map packs to get it since you can only get 83 without completing any map packs.
Yeah... you need to suffer through 7 more map pack medium demons than you had to in 2.1... I already beat three of them in 2.1 (one of them took me two years and the ending was absolutely random), but there are still four remaining... and two hard demons to 100% golden coins
Good one! I totally forgot about that. I’ve had my map packs done for a while but it was a MISERABLE grind
getting a star rated level is probably going to always be the hardest icon since it literally requires the developer to give it to you

7 Years after 2.1 came out, the "star-rated level" achievement is still sadly out of reach for millions of players :(

I have all of the achievements on Steam so I am thankful in ways you can’t imagine that the new achievements are only in-game.
I thought the exact same thing when 2.2 dropped.
Also very thankful the star rated level isn't part of the steam achievements since until 2.2, that was the only achievement I was missing.

Same, because I don't intend on playing much 2.2, playing since like 8 years maybe, wasn't feeling motivated to do the achievements.
No matter how many achievements 2.2 has added, the hardest achievement remains the same: Get a star-rated level.
Unless robtop adds something like 'get a featured/epic level' or 'get 5/10/20 creator points'. But he wouldn't do that right?
getting 500 or 1000 likes on level is way harder than get rate on level, because not every star rated level has 1000 or even 500 likes on it

I think rating the stars of 2000 levels is still very difficult. It's annoying to grind for, especially since you can get IP banned by loading too many levels too quickly. I just focus on playing rated levels, so I still haven't gotten it after thousands of hours of playing this game (I'm only 26% of the way there lol). Thankfully there weren't higher achievements added for it in 2.2.

the like or dislike 4000 levels achievement is actually insane, now that you can get rate limited by the servers if you do it too fast
originally i grinded the like or dislike achievements, but after i did that i kept liking levels just because of muscle memory, and because of that I already had the 4000 when 2.2 came out lol

The rate limits were already a thing pre 2.2
As a top 1000 stargrinder, I only have the following left:
- 9/10 paths,
- List achievements above 25
- Moon achievements above 700
- Type 2 Shard achievements above 65
- Like/Dislike 4000 levels (I have around 3800)
(A friend of mine with 50cp asked what to give me for my birthday and I asked for a level)

2.2 is the greatest thing a stargrinder could ever ask for (i got to spend my 1.3 million orbs and 2600 demon keys) but i do feel kinda bad for casual/new players as most of the new achievements (such as the 25,000 star achievement) are really only accessible if you've played the game for a long time (i've played for almost 6 years)

It’s clear that the new achievements really incentivize grinding and so do the new collectables. As someone who’s played this game for years on two accounts I am really not fond of the 365 daily level achievement, and it’s certainly going to be difficult for new players to catch up to the amount of stats required to beat all of these. It really depends on if you’re the type who loves to (and can) grind for all this stuff, but it’s clear that Rob really put an emphasis on that.
ive played the game for 200 hrs and i only just got 1000 diamonds and 400 stars. the paths are basically impossible for me to because i only have 10000 out of the 50000 needed and that was after lots of grinding. i guess robtop was only thinking about the players with over 1000 hours ig
Rob basically shat on newcomers. I mean, look at the shops prices, the key chests, the achievements, the paths, i have over 500 hours on this game and i barely have 4000 diamonds
I dont even have the paid verrsion, but still got the goblin ufo combined with 2 other creator items at the same time…….
And still i have only completed 1 daily, my hardest is harder and i cant even play 2.2…..
I actually really like how hard some of the achievements are, make the wow factor when you see a certain icon on someone’s profile a lot bigger
True, sometimes it’s hard to tell though because it’s very easy for people to hack-unlock every icon

The thing with user coins, pretty spot on. I pray everytime new quests list generates that I'll get the 2 coins one. I mean, don't get me wrong, coins are cool, but some levels are really pushing the boundaries of having fun collecting those

5:34 Correction: The highest was actually 60 demons for some reason.
The only good things about these is now really good players have stuff to grind for. I personally think a good way to make star grinding easier is changing how demons give you stars. I think the higher difficulty the demon, the more stars, orbs, moons, and diamonds you get respectively. Easy demon could stay 10, medium 15, hard 25, insane 50, and extreme 100. With orbs changing as well in proportion to the stars (Same with the other collectibles.) I think, while it still would be more efficient just to beat easy demons, it would make extreme demons more viable other than just coolness points.
The only problem with this is how much demons can change rating making it difficult to put this into the game
@@evernevers5390Yeah, I think they would have to rework demon rating for this to happen. Or else everybody would just rate stuff extreme for free stuff. They could lock the difficulty of past demons and any new or newish demons could be manually changed by mods. Like maybe anything from 2.2. Idk how they would make it work Im not a dev.

Getting a creator point in the past, I never realized just how hard the achievement was to get. Making a level solo and doing everything varies in efficiency, but as someone who was inexperienced, it took a lot of time.

For the daily level one, daily levels are usually hard and harder difficulty.
And sometimes insane with low chances of normal difficulty daily levels.

The rated level achievement is definitely the hardest since I think the level rating system (and how they work) are quite controversial.
On a side note, I was hoping that Rob would add a feature when you can skip quests because sometimes I really find them annoying, especially when I want the star ones but atm it was all coins quests.

Honestly, rating 2000 levels might be harder, sitting to grind that many rates would take hours upon hours
The star Rated UFO imo shouldn't be locked behind a task that requires you to be noticed or have connections with popular people to get your levels noticed. With 2.2 and a higher ceiling of what a level should be considered rated only getting higher and higher. I think its time to at least change the requirement to get it. Very least glad that it isn't a steam achievement

As a totally real demon grinder,I can confirm that the achievement called "touch grass for one millisecond" is the hardest achievement in the game.
Great video! I am so, SO thankful that RobTop didn't add an achievement like "get a featured rated level" or "get an epic rated level", that was one of the first things I checked when 2.2 came out lol

Lists achievements are crazy, the most you need to complete is 200 LISTS! I have barely completed 10 lists...
My opinion on the hardest achievements is obviously the get a star rated level one, but other hard ones include 500 demons which I have only 142, 160 secret coins which means you have to beat all the map packs & get all the main level coins as well as all the secrets, 25,000 stars which I just got before 2.2, 3,000 user coins which I have 7,700, beat a year’s worth of dailies which from my experience only being able to beat 40% of all daily levels, it’s probably gonna take the average player more than a year because not all the daily levels are good, & the beat 5,000 levels which thankfully I have over 8,000 now. I’m gonna struggle with the demons & secret coin ones though because I’ve been avoiding those as much as I can. Even with all these new hard achievements, the hardest is still the get a rated level UFO.

If collect all Coins with official levels, you can not beat 2-4 map packs for 160 Coins achievement.

Flub, I have a major question for you. So, a little backstory, I always dreamed of getting the goblin achievement and I was NEVER good at making levels, so I knew I was never going to get it. Then, one random day I got the achievement along with all the like achievements, I was really excited because I thought one of my levels got rated and was popular, but I checked and none of them were even above 20 likes and non-rated. I was so confused because I know I didn't make a level that good. So, was this a glitch with the game? Idk man, can you help me out please!
All the new achievements are based in all players who were playing actively the whole 2.1, average active player could have all of them unlocked, if you are a beginner you wouldn't have anything like every beginner in all updates.

I unlocked most of 2.1, having uncompleted: 3 achievements for creating, 11 gauntlet demons and 6 map pack demons
But then 2.2 came out, and now I have most of icons locked...
At least I have all diamond and daily level achievements from the start, 26k diamonds and 400 daily levels

to add the the moon one, auto platformers will be extremely few, let alone rated ones.
Getting a star rated level is honestly the worst, especially with standards nowadays. If your level is the most breathtaking, stunning, most detailed level ever, you'll be lucky to even get star rated. If Robtop's really gonna do this, he might as well add creator point achievements.
Robtop should pull up that 100 CP death effect in the next update
Speaking of waiting a whole year, There's actually an achievement where you need to wait A WHOLE YEAR to get, Its called "Happy new year!" and you have to beat 365 DAILY LEVELS, AND THERE IS 365 DAYS IN A YEAR, Robtop is insane.
Must be so irritating to have all the achievements but the ones that require you to create a level and it to get rated etc. So many god tier creators to compete with
I kinda like all of these grind achievements because it gives people stuff to do for years to come, until the next update
Sometimes I wish we got new achievements that weren't stat based but instead beating specific levels or playing a specific way.
Achievements that would or would not be fun like "Beat a demon level without completing it in practice mode" or "Beat The Nightmare using the default icons and colors"
Others could just be pure memes like "Get over 1000 total attempts in Stereo Madness" or "Finally figure out how to use the spawn trigger"
This is an awesome video but what was the point of the tier list if most of the categories were just gonna be at or above extreme?

if you get an achievement for opening scratches shop, it would be impossible for a beginner (and me) because of a bug in the code that wont let you in scathes shop if you get enough diamonds in 2.2
Honestly at first i thought getting 10000 moons would be crazy, because the ball that i've been wanting to get is behind that achievement, but after like a week i alr got 500 moons, i just beat most of the plat levels immediately whenever rob publish them... And leaving the super hard ones for later, i do have only 7.1k stars tho and i should play more star rated levels, but idk lately i'm only attracted to play platformer levels, i enjoy it more than what i initially thought
Im trying my best to make a rated level using the new pixel blocks but there's not enough. There is not one complete set, there are almost complete but there are still not enough to use the new auto build future that was added in 2.2.
I am just glad that they did not add new steam achievements for these.

@@KirikkSiSq yeah the geometry star one is just unfair, but it would also be insanely grindy to perfect the game, it already takes forever to do it on the current list of achievements.
It has to be the level creation achievements, for a new player even learning the editor would be a task with so much stuff in it, not to mention even if you do make a good level, there's a high chance it'll just go unnoticed by the community in favour for levels made by more famous people
the rating levels achievement is super hard especially since i mainly play demons and demon rates for some reason dont count as rating a level

It wont actually take u a year to reach 365 daily levels, because weekly demons also count as dailys in ur stats

Is there and achievement for something like “beat a hard demon” yet? Cause that would really feel more like an achievement as your actually growing your skill, I don’t like how a lot of these are just to much of a grind and don’t feel worth it for a possibly mediocre icon
You should really try creating in 2.2, I’ve found it miles easier due to all the new powerful features, there’s a chance at geometry star before the standards skyrocket

I like that robtop made these achievements as a grind rather than skill based. It keeps me occupied for so long and I will probably never run out of next step achievements to aim for.
It’s nice to feel like my endless jumping, attempts and Star / moon collecting is actually counting towards something rather than just a high number on my profile.
Also not to boast, but I have a rated level on 3 different accounts 😎

I am suffering trying to get all in-game, and steam acheivments.
The new achievements got me to look at stats I hadnt in a while. I have over 6000 online levels completed, and all the jump and attempt achievements. I also just got 550 demons lazt year, I started on like 300 something. I also just yesterday reached 25k stars
Oh and also Ive completed 575 daily levels, which is WAY more than I thought I would have.

I understand rob putting out these insane achievements for us since we got them all when 2.1 released and had nothing to do besides grind online levels until 2.2 came out, now 2.3 will release and the majority of players wont even achieve half of these

The hardest achievement to complete My level elmarAye in Normal mode. Physical impossible. Longer than Emptiness. Harder than Nessus. Needs 35.2529 Octillion clicks. 25.1 hours. Needs 45,898,445,090,000,000,000,000,000 orbs to bot.
Does anybody know how to get the supporter achievement in 2.2? It doesn't give you a good hint when you check it out...
I just want to point out something. I am not a level creator nor do I use Icon Hacks. I faced a bug where I "completed" a star rated level and got the achievement. Robtop, please don't ban me, it was probably a bug + I don't like the UFO that much, which means I am not using it for the purpose of what I just said.

For me the gold coin achievements (old and new ones) still remain as something extreme, considering Map Packs
And also don't forget about achievement add 50 friends. It may be very simple for some, but if you are an ordinary player and almost no one knows about you, I doubt that this achievement will be easy for you.
It's far from the _easiest_ achievement in the game, but it's far from infeasible regardless of your popularity. An easy way (although it may take a few days) is to leave a comment on the current Daily Level / Weekly Demon asking for people to friend you, or just send requests to random people asking them to friend you for the achievement.
Im finally got geometry star achievement 1 week ago after playing 7+ years of this game, it was my dream and im so happy that im did it :3

I don't know this is bug or what but, i got "Geometry Star" Achievement on my profile. My level is suck and I don't have any star rated level, but why i got this Achievement?
u don’t have to worry about the goblin ufo there is a bug in 2.2 with the server were if u click on an already rated level, the server thinks u made the level and gives u the achievement

hardest one is definitely the creator point, followed by the 25k stars one. some of the other ones like rating 4000 levels are just annoying but not actually difficult.
So personally: The complete 500 demons and the 160 secret coins ones were completly free since i already had those.
The star,coin and moon ones are gonna take a while since im not even halfway trough.
The daily one isnt hard its just pacience. I regret not playing dailies now.
Now for the ones that im probably never getting:
The like/dislike one is a contender since its probably the most boring way to spend your time in this game.
The get likes on a level and get a star rated level are def the hardest for me since i suck at creating. Lets just hope rob doesnt add a "get 2 star rated levels achevement"

I got this *glitch* where I got all the creator achievements, even the one where you need a rated level. even though my most liked level has about ten likes. Best part is that I even got it on camera 💀💀💀💀
