Hi, great test, thank you for sharing. I'm wondering if you used an included usb dongle and connected the device to pc. If not, would you be able to test this setup? The reason I'm asking is that I used many BT headset paired with windows and MS Teams, and the sound quality was horrible. I know that some devices achieve much better call quality when connected via dongle. Thanks in advance
Hey thank you for feedback @JakubMarekBanasiuk, and thank you for your question! You’re absolutely right to be cautious about using Bluetooth headsets directly with Windows and MS Teams, as the sound quality can sometimes be subpar. Manufacturers typically include a USB Bluetooth dongle to ensure better call quality and connectivity. In the case of the BH71 with Workstation Pro, it does indeed come with a dongle. However, this dongle is primarily for use when you’re away from your workstation, such as when you're on the go with just a laptop or mobile device. When you're connected via the Workstation Pro, which is hardwired to your PC/laptop, adding the USB Bluetooth adapter on top of that setup could cause some confusion and might interfere with the already stable connection. In essence, the workstation acts as a hub that manages all the connections effectively, and introducing the dongle in this scenario likely won't add much benefit. But, if you're operating without the workstation, using the manufacturer’s Bluetooth dongle would certainly provide a more reliable and higher-quality connection than using your laptop's native Bluetooth. Hope this helps clarify things!
