One of the main reasons is tick iPhone is cuz it’s cheaper in the long run and u get most of the recent tech advantages. And to answer how. iPhone sleep their value making the resale value a lot more then any android and there for upgrading roughly costs me 350 to 400 every year or two. But recently it if I wanted to upgrade my 15 pm to a 16pm it would only cost me $200 out of pocket for the latest Apple tech

If you say that phones get better...
    1. Why is it not IP69? Many users want to use their smartphones while scuba diving.
    2. Why is it a 10,000 mah smartphone. Not a common tech?
    3. Why is the speaker downgraded? Used to have dual front facing speakers. Now they're split?
    4. Why is the 4k resolution smartphone. Not a common tech?
    5. Flash used to be brighter 5 years ago. Now we have flash that has reduced brightness?
    6. Why is it that we have smartphones that are stuck on 1TB storage? We should already have 2tb smartphone. Or better, an 8TB!
    7. If smartphones mostly have 3 camera's. Where's the other 2? Thermal and night vision camera?
So many features that are still missing until now. No wonder people only upgrade their smartphones after 5 years.

    • @のぼゆきたかもと
      @のぼゆきたかもと 23 นาทีที่ผ่านมา

1 - They are smartphones. They have holes. If you want something like that, you can go get rugged phones. But I believe we are going to get IP69 rating phones in the future. And not everyone is taking their phones for scuba diving. There are better equipments to record underwater.
2 - 10,000mah smartphones are currently impossible because of their sizes and the thickness. But you can still get 20,000mah rugged phones online if you need it.
3 - The speakers aren't downgraded. They are still the same in my opinion. The got spilt because the bezels are no longer on the phone. If you want the phone with front facing speakers, you can get the Sony Xperia.
4 - 4k resolution on the tiny screen is no needed. They use more battery and most of the time you can't even tell the 1440p and 4k on the computer monitors which are 24 inches.
5 - More energy = More heat and the flashlights are already bright enough for daily usage. If you want brighter than that, you can get a big torch.
6 - Do you even need over 256gb of storage in the phone? 1tb is already overkill for a phone storage. I am still rocking with 128gb phone and I still have over 50gb of free storage. Just get a pc if you want to store files.
7 - What do you mean the other 2? They are mostly Ultra wide and Macro lens. Also most people don't use thermal and Night vision so even if they add those, they won't work as well as actual equipments and will be considered as gimmick on the phone.
Smartphones are meant for general peoples, They are good enough in every category but not as good as an equipment that's made for certain things. That's why professionals are still using the actual cameras instead of phone cameras.

    • @shiro214okane
      @shiro214okane 20 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

@@BostanMaxim the problem is the SD 8 gen 3 for me... i have op12 and s24u.
they throttle to 65% specially when outside or places that doesn't have aircon.
despite that "vapor chamber giz or whatever cooler is that" in reality both phones will run at 40c to 43c at 30 to 40 fps in heavy games.
this also reflects when recording in crowded events where its hot and you're recording a video at 60fps 4k for morthan 4mins and its also bright in the area soo you also need to brighten the screen. at both can't even go full 60 fps constantly.
for example i'm shooting a video for my kids dance and its outside at 10AM. when i check the video in pc its dipping 40 FPS. its around 55 to 60 when i'm recording in a cool place like malls.
btw normal ambient temperature here is around 30c to 40c outside.
phone coolers doesn't really do that much you'll just ruin the battery due to extreme unbalance of temperatures.
even just an electric fan pointed at the screen does much better.

Android's incompatibility (or Google's incompetence or mass consumers' cluelessness) with microsd cards cripples these devices hard.
I'm not asking for Apps2SD 2024 edition. Just wanted to have my personal files on sd card so Play Store Apps and Games, along with Android updates, get to keep the internal storage to themselves.

Snapdragon 8 elite gen 1 uses a LOT of power and heats up way too quickly, I dont think thats efficient. The only phones so far that are able to actually use it while being good is the redmagic 10 pro and it still uses a ton of power. (The reason why it has been able to use the sd8e1 is because it has a built it fan) with rog phones it quickly heats up to 47+ degrees celcius and when it reaches 50°c (it will because of the sd8e1 being bad at staying cool) the performance just gets destroyed

Watching movies and reading books is a pain with curved screens. The glare and distortion is noticeable on the curved part. It sucked having to resize the margins of my ebooks and mangas/manhwas just so I can read properly.
There's also less area to use the stylus on. Also cursed to use hydrogel since domed glass TG are expensive and a pain to look for someone who could install.

I agree curved displays suck.... My OnePlus 12r is almost perfect, the only things I'd add to make it perfect: headphone jack and micro SD slot

True. I think the pairing of a snapdragon 8 elite and a larger battery e.g in terms of gaming since a more powerful processor is More battery draining I don't think gamers will really see battery improvements, only if the a snapdragon 8 Gen 2 had a 7000mAh battery . Greet Benji for me

Technically gaming will still see an improvement, as I mentioned earlier, 8w on older CPU, and 5.9w on new CPU when playing a game, in locked fps scenarios you will see a huge battery increase.

remember opening and transferring data files on android without root, yeah no matter how you see the specs of the phone its basically useless
what are they gonna do next? remove the ability for android to read apk? but increase the battery? yeah no.... every phone now is useless and just buy whatever you need for the next 3-4years

They just abused the dumbness of consumers for a few years harder and harder. It's not only that the people still buy it. The problem is that people dont talk about it in a bad sense. They just say "no thats better or why they would do this." Specially apple can do what they want and people support them for it. The silence was too big about that all. Glass sandwich, no 3.5mm jack, slow charging speeds, software that is completely closed up, and much more. Just stop praising things that are bad for customers.
