Politicians get control on officers who failed to maintain honesty and integrity in true values forgetting that thousands eyes are watching the officers 24x7 hours to find out his weaknesses in any direction.

Anil Swaroop Sir is very honest, excellent orator & genius administrator. When he was giving his example as Secretary Horticulture in UP, my father used to be Director Horticulture then & my father being very honest, used to have very nice relation with him. Thanks for getting him in your podcast Raj.

Interviewer is quite an immature person. Not allowing to answer fully and interrupting a lot. However, Anilji was quite eloquent , clear in thoughts. Great to have such officers

He has limited time and needs to cover as many topics as possible in that limited time, so no he is not an immature person, there is also a high possibility that the video has gone through a lot of editing and many questions and answers could have been skipped to shorten the video

In my view Anil Swaroop ji has been state forward ,bold government public servant. Its good video report with interview along with a different person of beaurocratic domain.
I was in a special purpose vehicle for smart city project in Muzaffarpur Bihar. There I had seen the working of 2 IAS officers from close. One municipal commissioner and other principal secretary of urban development Ministry. My high regards for IAS turned into hate and a belief that IAS officers are arrogant and visionless. But after listening to Anil Ji I am happy there were and there are matured visionary ethical smart and motivated officers also. A good IAS officer can really change the landscape of area under his responsibility. Like Mr. Pratyay Amrit, IAS officer being power and transport secretary really changed the conditions of roads and electricity for good in the state of Bihar.
The way Anil Swarup Sir Ji spoke about public administration is quite impressive. I loved his "bold, frank, honest, to-the-point answering and positive mindset approach" attitude. Got to know a lot about the career of civil servants. Unlike other civil officers, he was quite transparent about internal matters. This episode is enough to prove that "people corrupt power, not power corrupts people."

I loved this podcast - especially the parameters to execute an idea at ground level in an democracy. Such an true scenario in a true and diverse democracy.
My Learnings: 1) Do not expect anything from others if you wish to have freedom in your life because there is always a price to pay. 2) Live by your own set of rules and be consistent with that. 3) Take adverse situations as a challenge and do whatever comes your way with confidence and happiness. This was an amazing session. I heard Anil sir for the first time and I am glad to hear from someone with so much clarity and experience ❤❤❤
Every government officer should listen to this podcast. Then they will realize how to deal with corrupt politicians. At the end of the day, politicians come and go, but one can only transfer an honest civil servant. And nowadays due to the internet, no place is distant or remote.

अर्ध शत्य i had seen when I was in college in 1983. Very nice movie of Om Puri, Smita, shadashiva. Anil saheb told bitter truth, one is to be happy to go any work place ,work hard and should enjoy the work. Never be obliged to leaders. We must think if someone has to go to such inconvenient why not me .

Run your propaganda somewhere else. Even during UPA tenure, their ministers used to go to jail for corruption and even till date, their ministers go to jail for corruption. The hunger of Congress and its alliance never ends. 🙏🏽
Apne sayad suna nhi thik se ,unhone kaha UPA sarkar me har koi raja tha means kab har insaan ke hath me faisla lene ki takat hoti h to wo apna swarth pahle dekhta h or ab har faisla sirf PMO leta h , to jab kisi ko faisla lene ka power hi nhi to wo kese brashtachar karega ..jab ek family me 4 bete h lekin faisla sirf papa karenge to equal karenge or wahin har bete ko faisla lene ka adhikar hoga to wo pahle apne bivi baccho ka heet dekhega or pita ko or bhaiyon ke sath dhokha karega

My Learnings:
1) Do not expect anything from others if you wish to have freedom in your life because there is always a price to pay.
2) Live by your own set of rules and be consistent with that.
3) Take adverse situations as a challenge and do whatever comes your way with confidence and happiness.

Every government officer should listen to this podcast. Then they will realize how to deal with corrupt politicians. At the end of the day, politicians come and go, but one can only transfer an honest civil servant. And nowadays due to the internet, no place is distant or remote.

@@akshay_personaBullshit, IAS are solely responsible for corruption at the higher level, no MP, MLA has any say in how much a tehsildar or a DM charges for clearing payments to contractors or for issuing contracts, at least MP, MLAs are controlled by public with voting happening every 5 years, no one controls these IAS, IPS!
