To be honest, I prefer Amit Shah's one-on-one interviews over those of PM Modi. The Prime Minister's interviews focus more on establishing a connection with people, presenting data, and discussing the developmental work he has undertaken. His strength lies in establishing personal connections, which contributes significantly to his immense popularity. Given his responsibility towards the country's 1.4 billion people, it's natural for his interviews to convey reassurance with a personal touch.
On the other hand, Amit Shah's interviews are direct and to the point. He doesn't allow for deviations or topic shifts and provides detailed explanations backed by facts. His interviews reflect both vision and conviction, giving the impression that he already has a clear roadmap for the next five years as Home Minister and for his party's electoral strategy. I have seen many of Mr. Shah's interviews with Ms. Smita and she always fall short in my opinion. Expecting more direct questions from her and at the same time need more interviews from opposition counterparts with same kind of intensive questions.
