In 2024, December has been the most interesting month so far. From Blossom, Under the skin2, Riverside code.., & now Guardians of dafeng.. I am liking all of these dramas.
Yellow color looks really good on you! Plus the red glass frame also looks pretty good! I hope you can make walking to different location videos like you did last time when you were in Chongqing where you showed all the stairs that you had to take to go to school. That video was really interesting.
My goal for 2025 is not start any cdrama until it finishes airing and I see the reviews, I've been disappointed multiple times in 2024, I'm not going to make the same mistake :''))

And as always, thank you for the updates. I am super excited about the 2025 film version of Condor Heros, simply because I love Jin Yong's work. Fingers crossed that the film is watchable. I've watched four episodes of Guardians of the Dafeng and am liking it so far. There are some likeable characters in it, including the lead. I'm not a mandarin speaker, so I can't comment on Dylan's accent, however.

I really appreciate your honest reviews especially the production companies who are obviously targeting non Chinese audiences, like the skin whitening. In a lot of dramas I noticed sometimes the lighting is so bright it’s unnatural! Year of Wood Snake! I wonder if anyone will produce something for that!
The skin whitening isn't targeting non-Chinese audiences. East Asians are obsessed with pale skin. It's their beauty standards. They're catering to Chinese audiences.
Re:Under the Skin 2, did the scriptwriter recently go through a bad divorce or what? Too many of the cases seemed to have evil, deceptive, manipulating women at the core of the mysteries. They also seemed to have a repetitive theme of Shen Yi confronting the suspected perpetrator (by himself!) and getting saved at the last minute by Du Cheng. I was disappointed.
I sadly couldn't get far in The Way Home. I could be forgiving of the acting, but it's trying too hard to focus on the subtly BL aspect. It comes off as a deep emotional drama, but the storytelling isn't telling. Seems like they were hoping for bl fans to hype it up reguardless of the plot holes. Sad because i liked the setup and themes of it. Anyway, happy new year, and thanks for continuing to upload on your vacation
