    Thanks Robbie and Ollie! So fun watching you play and reminisce about your favorite movies. You answered many of my questions about the game.

    I did the exact same thing with the small buildings, tanks, and trains!

      They had to have designed the small buildings with Monopoly houses in mind. Adding the extra pieces definitely adds to the game!

      @@robbieollieplay779 I agree! They even fit perfectly into the square outline. If you wanted to be extra like me, you could cut the cardboard pieces until they press fit under the houses, trains, tanks etc. That way, you could still see their points worth below 👍🏽

      That sounds like an interesting idea. We might have to put together an art project and see how that works out. Thanks!

    There's another game from about 10 years ago, I think it's called "Godzilla: Kaiju World War", bigger playfield, buildings to crush, about the same crappy vehicle-tokens, and 4 Kaijus.
    Haven't played both games, but I can at least buy "Tokyo Clash" on Amazon, will get it soon, and yes, I wanna upgrade it too. 😬

      The pieces are definitely worth an upgrade. It only adds to the game. We did acquire Kaiju World War on Ebay, and it looks fun. We just haven't played it yet, but someday.... Not sure how Kaiju World War pans out, but one of the fun things in Tokyo Clash is simply when you have multiple players and Kaiju are being thrown here, there, and everywhere!

      @@robbieollieplay779 That's the spirit!
      Can't enjoy life if you haven't thrown a Kaiju into a building & stomped some tanks... 😬

    Where did you get those snazzy little army tanks?

    • @robbieollieplay779
      @robbieollieplay779  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Pardoner. We got them on Etsy from CombatMiniaturesLLC. Unfortunately, I don't think it's still around, which is a shame, because I liked their minis. I know a lot of people will use tanks from Axis and Allies or Memoir 44, but these were Japanese tank minis of the era, which was cool.

    Someone says those rules are confusing...

    • @robbieollieplay779
      @robbieollieplay779  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They're right. These are some of the most poorly written and organized rules I've encountered. There were topics that we had to make assumptions about the gameplay just based on our history of playing games, or where it was explained in the rules, but it was explained so poorly that you don't know what you just read. If you get it, I recommend the Rules Forum on BoardGameGeek as users have had a year to sort it out and clarify the rules. Maybe it's because we're Godzilla fans, but the game is quick and fun enough that it's worth the time to figure out for an all our monster brawl.
