These boys think Adam is a racist ever since they did their reaction to his song racism. They obviously got the wrong message from it. He was clearly pointing out the stereotypes in different races. They were extremely offended by it. I thought it was rude when they brought the trash can out on New world Order it was supposed to represent Adam 🙄 Clearly if they felt this way about him then they should not be reacting to any videos with him in it even if Tom is in them. This tells me it's all about the $$.
@@laurahopping5845 Exactly. I used to think these guys were real fans, but I'm starting to think their just like a ton of other reactors. Only using Tom and Adam to get views. I've seen plenty of reaction channels do reactions on Tom, Adam, Upchurch, and others and pretend to be fans. Once they got their subs high enough, they haven't reacted to any of Tom's stuff since.

The fact that some of you guys thought "the good old days" meant anything to do with the slave era is pretty sad. You know this song is about unity, but it felt like you misinterpreted the lyrics just to make the song sound bad.

I'm sorry but I feel nothing truer has been spoken when Adam said you want to learn oppression then go to the middle east. Sorry buy you aren't oppressed if you're driving a range rover or a Honda civic. Nobody is holding anyone back from anything. And when people start to figure that out and stop feeling sorry for them selves and thinking everyone owes them something, then and only then the world will be a better place and we can truly be one and not divided.
So true. One summer in Johannesburg and they would immediately learn how difficult it is for people who have melanin. Essentially South Africa didn’t have its “civil rights“until 1994. The entire city looks like a thriving metropolis until nightfall. Then you realize all of the buildings are empty and all of the white people who have businesses there have moved to New Zealand. And when you go out to the undeveloped areas there is no indoor plumbing and nothing like the American experience.

At this point, I think these guys are just riding these videos for the clout and money. Do they really care about the messages? I think it goes a little deeper than 2010. Obama happened in 2008, and white conservatives were afraid to speak as we were accused of being racist for not voting for a left of center politician.
Because Adam is Gen X, I felt he could be referring to the good ole days as we grew up long after segregation and before social media, so our friends were of all different races/ethnic backgrounds and we didn't have racism thrown in our faces as it happens today. I believe he is talking about the Founding Fathers who founded the Country. They weren't perfect by any means, but they did found The United States of American Constitution and The Bill of Rights (that's a separate but extremely important Bill).

One thing people fail to remember is that Thons Jefferson even said the Constitution is a blue print for future generations and can always be adjusted and even knew that things that were happening at that time would be changed , which is why it is worded the way it is, hence “amendments”
The founders were flawed like us all but they did have a dream of all men being created equal. If they had pushed for the whole package all at once the constitution would never have been ratified. So their dream not fully fulfilled became "in Order to form a more perfect Union,"

United States almost didn't happen if it wasn't for the Bill of Rights. Which guarantees those 10 rights to every American and the Federal/State Governments can not break. Also the Founding Fathers never mentions race of any sort throughout the entire Constitution and Bill of Rights, only speaks of Man (man as slang for Human Race)

I guess you can go where you think is your country, but I, personally, would like you to stay and help heal our (your) land and move forward. We can’t change the past, but we ALL have the choice in the future. We can chose to ban together and move forward (as America has started since the 60s) , or we can continue to move backwards as we’ve “progressively” done in the last few years (this is all by progressive design). That is why they do everything they can to keep the white and black races from coming together and finding healing. Not Texan by birth, my family moved here when I was about 4 and I moved a few times to other states bc my husband was in the Army but moved back almost 9 years ago after he had to medically retire. My husband's originally from California but feels more at home here in Texas. Both of us are transplants but are proud to live in Texas. ❤️

I am guessing you have a roof over your head, food in your stomach, a smart phone in your pocket, an education. Now yes America has been tainted, however so has every other country. We also have learned from the past, so maybe try living in the present and thanking God for this country and all the blessing you have
I am 20 years and I have grown up and lived in Georgia and my whole life I have never seen a person of color not be offered the same opportunities as me. In fact people of color are offered more opportunities than me just because of the color of their skin. Yeah life wasn't good for everyone during slavery and segregation but since then people have changed, evolved and learned from their mistakes and people of color now can do whatever they set their mind to and make America their home. If things weren't great now for people of color then we wouldn't have had the first black president, or first black female vice president, that right there is proof that we aren't still the racist country that so many people like to portray us as. The victim mentality needs to stop, because if a person of color can't do something in America it isn't because a white person is holding them back it's because they are holding themselves back thinking that white people owe them.

The good old days I think that Adam said was referring to before cancel culture went crazy and we all could have a conversation without people getting butt hurt and before censorship going wild. And yes, in my opinion you all have been promised life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, although it took way too long to include everyone in that. There are still problems like racism but to me this song is about how the government/elites are exacerbating those problems and getting us all to argue - we are easier to control if we are at each other's throats rather than working through our real issues. Nothing gets solved when people are shouting each other down instead of talking & finding common ground. Look at all the things we argue about, race, religion, masks, vaccines, right down to cow methane gas...it's all stuff that could be improved the more we talk/listen to each other but they don't want that. They don't want solutions because then they'd lose their campaign talking points. How many campaign promises have actually been kept? How much money have the organizations contributed to help those they proclaim to be speaking for? And who is getting rich and reaping the gains? All food for thought.

Slavery was dying out after the revolution until Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin which turned cotton into a labor intensive crop, to one that could be mass produced, then the country divided itself for 30, killing each other by the thousands, then America went and sacrificed hundreds of thousands of lives in the Civil War to end slavery and to try and make this country what its fathers promised it to be.

I've said I wish we could go back to the way things were before. I've never heard anyone say that in any other way than how I mean it. We wish things could reset so that we can have different opinions without cancelling people we don't agree with. I wish we weren't thinking that everyone who disagrees with our opinions do so because they are evil. I miss civil and honest discourse. That's how we learn. But lately, even in debates I've seen one side saying horrible things because they have wrapped themselves up in a cloak that is an oppressed minority say horrible things. They do this comfortable in the knowledge that they won't be called out. And they know that if their opponent lashes back in anger at the disrespect they will be cancelled. That's no way to try to come to an understanding. Both sides must see each other as equals in a debate. The same rules must apply to all. It's the only way forward. Otherwise, we will be back in the same place as before only with the oppressed party being switched. There are some who say that is how it's supposed to be. But this will be an endless cycle of hatred that I don't want to be a part of.
