I think it’s because we grew up watching the progression of rap music. We’ve seen the classics come up and we are now watching some bullshit demon worshiping artists. Tom brings all the best parts together, on his own. Well, with his girl Nova❤️ which makes them even more together. Not to mention, he’s red pilling people. I’m sure you saw it in this video, right before our eyes. I’m 48 btw. I literally stopped listening to music with the exception of Christian Rock/Rap and Bob Marley. Lol. ✌🏼

I think recent events have shown that you can't be fully independent these days because you don't control the platforms you're using to get your stuff out there (Twitter, TH-cam (Google) , Spotify, iTunes (Apple), etc.). They can still shut you down if there is enough pressure on them.

But I know I am not religious, yet no one will ever shake my faith in my Lord and Savior. I have a personal, spiritual relationship with Him. The world has ruined religion for me

IMO, This is a very indirect way for Tom to claim a stance publicly.
Tom also goes onto say in the song Ashes more about his faith and again, In my opinion, baaaaaasically says he claims the Lord to a degree. I've personally sat on many of Tom's live streams that he has done and he believes worship for himself is personal and chooses to do it at home.

This is all in the context of speaking about Jesus Christ.
He's blaspheming the Lord.
His first line about "I'm not religious but I walk with Christians" was just to disarm you and get your guard down so he could follow it up with blasphemy without you thinking it's blasphemy.
And obviously it worked because it has Christians all over the place ignoring everything else he said.

He's talking about Jesus... he said he's not a Christian, which means he doesn't believe in Jesus or what He did... he mocked the wounds Jesus received to pay for sin by saying the wounds Jesus received weren't enough to pay for his sins, then he said he was actually the one receiving those wounds by being persecuted by the media.... then he called himself God.... then he said he's a wolf who doesn't lie with sheep, which, in the context of speaking about Jesus Christ (who is known as the lamb of God, and whose followers are also referred to as sheep), would mean clear-as-day that he's an enemy of Jesus and His followers....
If there's some secret context I'm missing here I would love to hear it. Because right now it just sounds an awful lot like you guys like him too much to be objective or use your critical reasoning skills.
