The 2 biggest dreams I had growing up, was to be an American citizen and to have my own business in America.
I spent more than 20 years endlessly fighting my way to achieve them…
6 years ago, on my 30th birthday, I earned my full citizenship-2 years later, I got a small loan to open my business.
Every single morning I want to cry happy tears that I get to wake up cuddled up in my warm bed, in my little house, I have breakfast to eat and a car that I get to drive to *my* shop!
This country and our constitution means everything to me (aside from family/loved ones) because it literally saved my family’s life and gave us the promise of endless opportunities, if only we were willing to work for it.
It truly breaks my heart when I hear natural born citizens say this place is terrible.
On one hand, their ignorance about how insanely lucky they are to live here, annoys me…
But on the other hand, in a weird way, it makes me proud that the quality of life is SO GOOD here, that they are able to be completely unaware of just how terrible life is for most people outside of it’s borders.
People who don’t get to enjoy the same rights, freedoms and protections that we do.
America is a paradise of freedoms, opportunities and abundance, because of our constitution-and we must protect it at all cost. ❤️

I love this one, but every time I listen to it and not watch the video, I see a playground setting, which I love that cus it reminds me of the "Sticks and stones" method. Words only hurt if you let them hurt. This song is deep on so many different avenues of levels.
He completely right. I spent teens mostly homeless and allot of couch surfing. I'm from a mostly white town of 30k but right across river is a City. I became a Heroin addict. Wich made me up growing up in prison. I have love of basketball and was good enough to play. So as any person does I picked up words and ways of saying them.
