@@CharlyGSoundDemo My Joyo American goes directly into the amps I use with a touch of dirt . I run the amps as clean as possible & use their reverb . The American just livens them up a little . The American is a perfect gate for disortion pedals . I love the Joyo California for leads . It's such a husky sounding pedal . Very complex sounding .
I personally run a joyo american and mosky spring reverb into a rumble 25. Just got this pockverb! Also ordered a pure sky to run in front of the joyo. Really excited. Was going to get a modeling amp but cheap pedals ftw!
You can use a Joyo into your daw. It sounds pretty decent but the strymon has 2 other amps that all sound amazing and integrated reverbs. The Joyo gets you 1 amp that sounds pretty okay.
@@chrisfit yeah But I still don't have 400$ to spare on a strymon so the 40$ bucks joyo will solve my issue(can't use my loud fender amp at home bcz of neighbours)
Yes it does . 1. It has a 3 band EQ . 2. It has Volume and Gain control . 3. It has the character Knob which basically gives you anything from Old School blackface , tweed all the way up to modern sounding distortion .

I would argue against, it has a cab simulator which is a pretty heavy EQ curve. Something like a caline pure sky affects your original very little while adding crunch. Having said all this I think transparent overdrives are kind of overrated and I want the EQ curve that overdrives give you that tightens lowend etc...
