Zero Motorcycle - How to install a top case mount and case

I highly recommend anyone considering storage to get a top case. I personally use a Zero top case mount with a Givi Case. Having the item installed yourself will save you a lot of money. Its simple to do and easy to install.

Like you found I had issues with the mushroom head Torx bolts. I did Dremel the hole larger, but ended up using M8 hex head bolts. The heads are much smaller than the mushroom Torx heads. I also drilled the right side of the mount so that it perfectly aligns with the frame. Now there is no problem when I am removing the seat.

@@alternativestandard3303 I ditched the mushroom head M8 bolts and switched to normal hex heads. I'm also fabricating bungee attachment points on the seat bolts. I list my mods on my website.

Is crash guard necessary for zero? There are not a lot of choice for DSR x
