I drove one of these from scotland to sierra leone and back a few months ago, I feel as though my ears will never function as ears ever again and after driving it through africa traffic I now have arms which can start a diesel locomotive using nothing but a very small cranking handle, but other than that they're an absolutely heroic machine. Surprisingly good at crossing sand, better than they have any right to be at rock crawling in the middle of fuck knows where in Guinea and literally everyone gets out the way when you try and drive it the wrong way up a packed street market.
Theya are so rare and that's the least rustiest one i've seen. Sounds like it has the same engine as a 709D. I remember UPS having turbocharged ones and they were very quick. You're right the 3.8 just keeps going.
