Mercedes 608D Motor Caravan for sale/parts just £500

Yours for £500: 1986 DVLA registered as "Motor Caravan", long wheel base model, almost 23 feet long. I have its full history from new. 8R17.5 wheels/tyres. OM314 engine and late style gearbox. N.B. you need more than a basic car licence to drive this unless, like me, you passed the ordinary driving test a long time ago when drivers were automatically allowed HGVs up to 7.5 ton. That has changed; now its 3.5 tonne limit and this is 6.5 tonne so please be aware. Located at DG7. Info correct as at 27 June 2020. Update 01 July 2020. Starter solenoid has packed in and starer now taken off for rebuild also fault has been identifies with clutch pedal control I pressed down to select gear and on coming back up is now solid and no drive. All gears select without pressing it so possibly a jammed cylinder or hydraulic blockage. Clutch did work fine as vehicle was as moved forward about half its length sometime in 2019/19 to access around the rear. Unlikely to be serious but it is obviously now a non-runner/driver till these issues are fixed.
