I think your main electrical problems are because you have a shit battery. They have to be perfect on one of these.

Have to disagree, I have a 17 year old TDV8 and it's great for my heavy towing and sooo comfy. Just make sure you buy a good one with proper service history.

Had mine 12years no problems at all.

Hate when people disrespect vehicles. I still have a vauxhall vectra 05, still immaculate condition, respect it while driving and keep the interior immaculate as well as the exterior. Just sold a lexus, which again was immaculate and kept well maintained and a elddis 07 caravan, which we lived in for a year and was well looked after and, even with use and owning a large dog, was kept impeccable clean and any work needed was immaculately done inside and out. Just bought a 1990 talbot express which they used to drive to Europe. Not looked after, really bad diy job inside; outside was full of patches and badly painted in some areas, and left in others with loads of drip marks and sealant thrown all over, even stuck onto the bodywork. Wallpaper over wallpaper inside; a hidden leak in wardrobe just left to get worse; dirty oven and fridge dirty, full of rust and not working. Never understood not cleaning; updating or people doing jobs which were bad or bod standard. We are renovating it and sanded all exterior for a proper repaint. Interior redone and leaks all sealed properly. Already she is looking good. Always looked after my vehicles and property; kept them clean; respected and maintained regularly.

Well Tommy, this looks like a really neglacted car, keys held together with tape, broken tailights, Tyres balder than michael Jordan, and DIY service... If there is one combination to avoid thats the one... You should have never bothered with this brand my friend..... Try a Japanese or American Truck instead. Still pretty funny video

Had a '03 90 pickup for a few years....broke my heart but fkn loved it. More street cred than a Ferrari at a fraction of the price. Father in law took it for for a spin and planted it into the hedge....forgot to tell him about the "play" in the steering 😂

If you buy a £200 car what do you expect. I don't like your bad language and attitude. The Freelander 1 is 25 years old now and all cars that old give problems if not maintained. I want a Porsche Cayanne but they have a 'reputation' for high running costs but I still want one. I'd have a clean Freelander any day probably the BMW diesel one
