Excellent second podcast! An honest conversation between Kevin and Rudy on how it all started.
Loved to listen to Rudy's story on how he started in plane spotting and met Kevin. Them how they
both have done to continue growing together as plane jockeys. So calm and relaxing to listen to
Kevin and Rudy. Awesome job, Kevin and Rudy!! Looking forward to the third podcast and more!

Being a relatively new member of the AVL family, this 2nd podcast has just given me the facts about the channel's early days. If you have grown so much in such a short time, I can't imagine where you will be for the next anniversary. Thank you for everything!.

I am so enjoying these podcasts. You both sound so professional. Kevin? Are you sure you weren't just behind the camera at the news? You sound like one of reporters! And Rudy, you are just the best. You guys are a great team. Looking forward to staying with you into the future!

The chemistry between the two of you is what makes the channel so much fun to watch & participate in! I am so glad to be a fan & I hope one day to meet the two of you in person to thank you for bringing this wonderful channel into my life. Here’s to friendship, love and longevity to the channel, mods, fellow AV geeks and to Kevin & Rudy!!

I love, love, loved today's podcast! I was surprised how quickly 30 minutes went by. I could listen to you two chatting for hours. I especially like the fact that you were doing the podcast face-to-face. It had great flow and was so interesting. Even if us 'long-time' viewers of AVL have heard some of these stories before you just don't get tired of hearing them. Great job Kevin and Rudy. You two are an awesome team! Congratulations to your successes in such a short time span. I wish you both safe travels and happy times at your destinations this weekend. Thank you 👍

I’m embarrassed to say I have NEVER listened to a podcast .. I don’t really do any social media either, so I’m happy to say AVL is my first podcast! Love hearing the backstories and can’t wait to hear more! Also, the sky is the limit (pardon the pun) for your channel AND podcasts and who knows what else! Love you guys!! Be well!!

My first step towards AVL was waaaay back in 1983, when my then 6 year-old self discovered what road atlases were. Autism meant that I soon grew fascinated to the point of obsessive about roads, motorways etc. In the next year or two, I had memorised vast chunks of the UK's network of main roads and the motorway network. I didn't plague my parents in the car asking if we were nearly there, because I could follow the route in the atlas by the time I was 8 and see for myself how much more of the journey was still to come. I taught myself to use Ordnance Survey maps and take grid references. This slowly began to encompass train travel (especially the London Underground) and then planes and airports after having my mind blown away by the British Royal Air Force's aerobatic display team, the Red Arrows, 20 years ago (military aviation first, then commercial passenger aviation). I find live airport feeds both calming and stimulating at the same time. I taught myself how to identify each plane type that lands in LAX, and enjoy the very regular reinforcement such a busy airport provides me with concerning the building of that particular skill.
I've never flown in my life, but I hope to one day take Speedbird to LAX and, once landed, come and meet you both and say hello to the other people watching the live action!

Great podcast, guys! As a member who stumbled across your show a year ago, I was instantly hooked! I've been planespotting many years since I was a kid down here in San Diego, and your format is the perfect visualization of the airport experience. Thanks for constantly expanding the show in creative ways...exactly how a rabid plane jockey would want it. Speaking of expanding views, I wonder how it would look shooting the 25L south side from the backyard of Proud Bird over on Aviation Blvd? just a thought....keep up the great work guys!

I've only been able to listen to this today, and absolutely loved it! Very nice to hear how your collaboration started and very informative. I'm glad you talked about the technical issues regarding having two cameras. I really liked having two different views and was missing it a little, but I understand better the limitations. It's true that the interactions are much better now, and I'm sure it's more enjoyable for the both of you. Great podcast guys!
