The American jurisprudence was a success today. Even tho the DA/PA tried his best to make it a Political Indictment and Trial. The jury upheld Self Defense AND the 2nd Amendment.
A jury of his peers saved the day. The fact that this even went on as a case in a prolonged fashion was a crash course for any conservatives learning yet again how purposefully busted the court system is. This should have been handled speedily were it a common law court. The reason the prosecution, mob and the media were all so vicious and without restraint is that there’s no recourse or consequences for anyone demanding an innocent man be sentenced. Putting someone who could even later be found as an innocent man behind bars should be a very, very scary thing to do should serving justice be consistent. What the mob and media wanted was an immediate verdict in charging guilt that would effect how all self-defense cases would be handled in the future, never mind what would come after should he be proven innocent. The prosecutors just wanted money and another notch under their belt.
I'm a liberal, and for the first few days after this event occurred I believed everything the media was saying.. After watching the ENTIRE trial from start to finish, I am beyond happy this boy was found not guilty. He defended himself, plain and simple.

He didn't cross state lines with a deadly weapon. He didn't cross state lines with any weapon, because the AR-15 was kept in a gun safe at Dominick Black's stepfather's house in Kenosha. Also, the possession charge was dropped during the trial because of the exemption in the law that made it lawful for 16-18 year olds to carry a firearm as long as it was not short-barreled.
