Hi
Does it work for Max? Can anyone confirm?
What movie site you can visit to wath it for free?
That is illegal sir
i felt in the first court scene he was greatly portrayed as a normal young adult, then Otto comes in and fucks up his thinking
The fact that Criston Cole could’ve prevented the death of Aegon’s son if he wasn’t so busy having sex with a hypocrite while being a hypocrite himself.
bingo!
Well, Criston Cole is only Alicent's guard, not Helana's (at least, that's the impression I get from the show). So even if he hadn't been doing his job, he still would have been too late. The bigger question is, why doesn't she have her own guards (like she does in the book)?
I don't believe Cole as commander would be on newborn detail. You'd imagine they'd have someone guarding though
Cole is the Lord Commander of the King’s Guard and his responsibility is to the king and the heirs. He is no long the sword sword of the Queen. That being said he probably gave himself the watch for the night to have privacy with Alicent. This (coupled with the Kingsguard not being full strength) is why there were no guards in the Royal apartments when there certainly should have been.
Aegon feels more like a real human compared to Joffrey. He was the most interesting to me this episode
Completely agree. Glad they just didn't have him being cruel for no reason.
I think they tried to show his compassion side this exposed because of what was about to happen and he will turn crazy for vengeance so we can see how unstable he was but he did try to be kind but the world didn’t let him.
His story in Fire & Blood is awesome, and they've been pretty honorable to that on the screen. He really was just a victim of circumstances. Just content with being another Targaryen.
@@bryanjames5256 I mean he did run away from being King, and now that he got the power he wanted to help and they wouldn’t let him. You could see how he tried to
Maybe, but I don't think it's realistic for him or his mother to be so careless as to not worry about putting a guard at his family's door or beefed-up security. Especially, as they prepare for pending war.
Alicent dismissed the handmaids because she felt overwhelmed by the fact that Creepy Clubfoot bro selected them
That was funny as I thought she trusted him.
I wonder if they made a tapestry of Alicent's feet for him.
Creepy Clubfoot is up to something too...he seems to be vying as the new Hand of the King...already planting seeds to King Aegon during that little private chat. His acting is so good being Creepy Clubfoot because he gives me the ick when watching his scenes.
@@skywalker6648 She doesnt trust him. she needed him, cause he was the only support when hand of the king was strong.

@@skywalker6648Is someone a book comparer?? lol
I think that Alicent dismissing the servants was more of a nod to the fact that Larys is always watching and spying on her, that he picked her staff personally himself, like he mentions earlier.
Yes. I was about to say this. His fetishes and his using of her made her feel dirty and uncomfortable. The fact that he personally assigned handmaidens to her gives the implication that Larys wants to personally see to it that she is “properly prepared” for whenever he wants to enact those desires in her presence. Essentially he is grooming her through his use of servants under the guise of security.
Big paranoia plus she's trying to have some moments that genuinely her own and not in the glare of the realm.
The only miss was Otto looking at Criston and Alicent when they walk in together, he CLEARLY knows something is up and now Helena has seen them together. The jig is up.
I think Helaena might be too traumatised to speak up after this point
One more: Larys Strong has changed the handmaidens of alicent, with an excuse that the previous spied for white worm. Larys suspects the acts of queen and lord commander of kingsguard. so, it is one way of knowing queen's dark secrets.
Alicent is well aware of the intentions of lord larys and feels creepy when those hand maidens bathe her.
@hrishikesh8541 so true!
Helena wouldn't have cared as it is, she senses everything but lives in her whole world. Plus after this she is gonna lose it anyway.

"What if we can't find Aemond?"
Killing Jahaerys was always Daemon's backup plan. A son for a son. It was no accident.
oh definitely
So who is Jahaerys father? If it's Aegon that mean the Queen actually gave up her son. I never read the books I only watched the shows and I'm so confused.
@@MrAnonymous-qq7jthe’s Haelena’s son regardless if Aegon or Aemond is the father. She birthed him

He just needs a honda civic and he'll be a complete FK boy 😂
I said the same thing. He is very unstable. He kills when he's upset. He's been giving a huge pass for his bs. I guess the tongue is just that good.
For a man of that time and place, he had remarkably modern Earth notions about romance. He was not supposed to bone at all and the beautiful queen offers him a lifetime of boning, her, with the king's approval. And he's mad because he's got some fanciful, foolish notion of "true" love and giving it all up. That would last all of two years, and a brutal existence of being nobodies.

Maegor didn't take the throne when his father died. When Aegon the Conquerer died, his elder son Aenys became king. When Aenys died, Maegor seized the throne, usurping the crown from the rightfui heir, his nephew Aegon (aka "The Uncrowned").
Too...many....names... lmao i hate how similar everyones name is
@@TyDieMusicits not really that confusing after you actually read Fire and Blood. I suggest you check it out. And everyone names their sons after Aegon because he was the greatest of all the Targaryens.
Yup.
It’s made easier in the books because everyone has a title, nickname or epitaph. Aegon I is Conquerer; his grandson is Aegon the Uncrowned; even the two Aegons in this show are known as the younger and the elder. It is confusing but much easier to keep track of. The names being all similar was done purposely by Martin. Look at European history and you’ll see the upper class all reused named over and over.
I think Daemon didn't "lost control of his scheme" because one of killers clearly asked "What if we can't find Aemond?" which hints that some one has to be killed
I don’t understand how so many people don’t understand that. They asked the question, the scene cut, and the end of the episode clearly answered that question
@@benj7911 screencrush is not even correcting it ,so bad! It leads to confusion for people who really taught Daemon's plan failed and grandchild died instead of a son! they just used the backup for not finding aemond.
I also think the change to the tapestry opening refers to the “history does not remember blood, it remembers names” theme
The shot where Criston picks up his vambrace is parallel to when Rhaenyra first took it off on their first night of being intimate.
In a narrative sense I actually really like that the second time we see Criston and Alicent be intimate again is at Rhaenyra’s old room where she and Criston did it the first time. It speaks to how Alicent and Criston may never move on from Rhaenyra especially when it could be possible that they remind each other of her. It’s also an ironic twist of both House’s downfall in the sense of keeping honor, duty, and sacrifice, especially when Alicent specifically said they couldn’t do it again.
😮
You missed the first quiet words of Helena which are also ominous and also the rat hunter appearing before the council meeting and during the petitions - great foreshadowing
Pretty obvious though.
🤣🤣 Sir Christian Cole...he literally got upset with Rhaenyra treating him a certain way when she was younger; caused all types of havoc behind it and low and behold; becomes Alicent's 304 in the end 🤔. So low Sir Christian, so low. Feel sorry for the man...have lil bit a dignity.
Criston "Puppet" Cole 😂😂😂
Poor Helena. Had to lose her son and the walk in on her mom doing it 👀
Christian Cole would be a meToo victim in today’s time.
He's a hypocrite, but can't be too mad since Alicent is a baddie
Right!!! The hypocrisy is stifling.
Rhaenyra ,and syrax finding the wing of arrax ,,and lucerys tattered cloak rrom the Fishermen was so heartwrenching.
I admit it made me misty eyed!
😂😂😂
Was surprised at the speculation in the video that this would make her appear "weak" with the small folk. I would expect that her mother's grief would endear her to them.
FINALLY got some quality back on our screens again. The writing, acting, set designs and cinematography is PHENOMENAL 🔥 June/July being dominated by House Of The Dragon and The Boys !
Game of thrones was still better in that department, though. Especially in regard to attention to detail. But at least it doesn't look too cheap, and the music is the same. Blood and Cheese was definitely not as horrifying as it should have been, but overall it was great
@BlazerManiacNumber96 Once again someone who doesn’t understand that story was told by a UNRELIABLE NARRATOR. Ryan and George have told y’all that numerous times. Mushroom was messy and the archmaester was trying to protect reputations. The truth is what we get on the show. This is probably what really happened and it makes much more sense that they wouldn’t know what to do. They weren’t trained assassins like the faceless men and the way it was told in Fire and Blood made it seem like they were. It makes sense they wouldn’t know what to do with Helena or which one was which,. It played out as unorganized and messy which makes sense given who they were. 💁🏾♀️
@@melanatedqueen6662 This entire comment reads as though Fire and Blood is an actual history book and not a work of fiction constructed by a singular author with the intent of telling a story 🤦♂️ I suppose the author was so unreliable that he didn’t get the number of children right either lol it also washes Daemon of accountability, further white washing his character.
HOTD is not some canon version of the events described in Fire and Blood. They’re separate universes. We can debate til the cows come how about “they aren’t trained assassins”, in the end, the scene simply wasn’t as tense or horrifying as it came across on the page. This is the result of creative decisions that did not work.
@@BlazerManiacNumber96 I agree with you about how to view the original story and the adaptation, but I mentioned the below point in another comment.
The showrunners are taking a much more human and nuanced characterization to HotD, whereas GRRM (in F&B) I think was really just going full force into the wildest, most violent acts to show us what could possibly have happened in such medieval times. GRRM plays a big part in the show, so any creative decisions they make are linked to the original creator (unlike Witcher, for example).
With that said, I trust what they're doing because what I see is a much more nuanced take on very similar plotlines but with much deeper characterizations and personalities. It HAS to be because we're seeing much more of the characters second-by-second, as opposed to the "unreliable narrator" perspective of F&B which allows GRRM to just cover high-level plot (which he's excellent at IMO) and some outlining dialogue (but not enough to auto-script a multi-season HBO series).
Condal and GRRM, IMO, are maintaining the main themes which is that peace takes work and luck and violence is easy and people often fall down that slippery slope due to emotions and poorly-though actions. They're not being as hypocritical as GoT (show) where GRRM's plot/themes were about the savagery of war, meanwhile the show flaunts tits and blood often unnecessarily. IMO, we don't need every show to shove violence down our throats - whether it's well made or not.
In the end, the creative decisions "working" or not working are subjective. To each their own. As for me, I really like their take on it, and thought they executed well. Re-enacting F&B directly would've been either too (pardon the pun) cheesy or too horror/gore-porn which would've been too niche for the global audience they want to maintain.
The blade noises in the Blood and Cheese scene is terrifying, I didn't know they cut the child so many times and not just a single cut.

I saw the first episode of season 2 of HOUSE OF DRAGON. Intense tragedy, the fire of anger is only the beginning. Can’t wait for episode 2. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🐲
Thank you for breaking down the opening because it not only gave us what was being done but the story before it all. Like when you described old Valyria👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I don’t think dragons can “sense” white walkers. They couldn’t fly over the wall because it is a barrier for magical beings/beasts from each side.
Alicent dismissed the staff that was bathing her because Larys had just told her he'd personally replaced all the house staff. She knew those were HIS spies and of course she felt both ICK and watched at the same time.
Great episode but I didn’t like the fact that they deviated from the book “a son for a son kill” the book was 20 times better 😊
20 times better??? Really?? This blood and cheese sequence was EPIC.. Sorry it didn’t copy the book word for word 🙄
great video as always! not sure if you missed this on purpose or not, but one of the guys petitioning Aegon is Hugh the Hammer
I wish they would have at least greyed up Ser Crispin's temples
He and Daemon found the fountain of eternal youth
the puppy is so cute...
How is this up so quickly?
I believe the "public mourning" of the Queens son, when she found the remnants on the beach, was showing "how" she got the "people" to back her. It shows her softer side - which can show great strength in public opinion
Emma D’Arcy is phenomenal. It was the perfect way to start this season… no dialogue/words spoken… only action!.. “I want Aemond Targaryen!”.. Loved it!!!
Nice to see a show bust out with such a great start, this is GOT level writing and it is sooooo sweet.
Complex topics are broken down so easily. Everything is made so understandable.
Another masterpiece!
In the beach scene, Arrax was the son of Syrax- Rhaenyras dragon. Syrax lets out a cry as they are both mourning over the remains
