- Follow along as I create my latest piece of mixed media art using collage papers, acrylic paint, stamps, stencils and pens. I love the challenge of using colors that are not my usual palette! Hi Kim! Yes, I printed the owl on deli paper, it's my favorite transparent paper to use. There is a link in my Amazon store that shows you the exact one I use. 😁

Beautiful and it looks really fun to do. What type of paper did you use to begin with?
It is really fun! I use a 200 lb watercolor paper.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, thank you for sharing. Inspired me to continue making my little postcard like this. I write words of encouragement on them, similar to your “seek” and them leave them places and hope they find the right person to find them.❤❤❤❤

Hi, I just got a gelli plate and have heard suggestions about using deli paper. What type to you use? Does it matter? I was checking on Amazon and I see there are wax and no wax options....thanks, your project is very inspiring.
Hi! This is the one I use: amzn.to/3vjFByg I haven't experimented with too many others but this one isn't too waxy and absorbs paint pretty well. 😊 Thanks for watching!
