I do read all your coments - thank You
That thing sound better than current v6 turbo F1 engines
This engine was the inspiration for my V12 build using 12x Honda GX25 so 300cc V12, for a kids car ! @
Amazing. It's more powerful than a 50cc, 2 stroke moped. So it could power lets say, Aprilia RS 50 or RS 125 motorbike. I'd love to see that! Should be easily capable of 100 km/h with proper gearing. Ever considered putting it into a motorcycle?
Is there a dynamometer graph available?
Žilvinas Deveika 50cc 2stroke can have easily over 10hp and still really hard go over 100km/h well 50cc aprilia rs could easily break 100km/h because smaller air resistance , and because that engine is really unreliable , and you just can't go to store and buy new 12 cylinders :D I had rs 125 with almoust 30hp and topspeed over 160 and fuel consumption was on 344km trip about 17.5-18litres and average speed was well over 100km/h.
KSP Awesome, i'm also getting RS 125 (hopefully next week). I'm getting the newer one, with 14k RPM on the tacho but they are restricted to 18 kw, right (the older ones are 21 kw)? Any insight on that or how to make it as powerful as the older ones?
At the moment i'm considering between two used RS 125 and i wouldn't trust their cylinders to endure the whole season so i'd probably change the cylinders as soon as possible, probably upgrading to a bigger bore. What's your worst experience with this bike and what do you ride now?
Žilvinas Deveika I live in finland and with A1 motorcycle driving licence at the age of 16 we can drive max 11kW bikes so all aprilia rs 125's have 11kW, but 1999-2006 Full power version have 22kW power and 2007-2009 have 21kW (FP) i have had two(2) aprilia rs 125 older one was year 2000 and had 34 000km on the gauge when i sold it and it still had same cylinder then i bought 2005 aprilia rs 125 had 26500km on gauge with original cylinder etc.. well i drived 500km with semi-synthetic 2 stroke oil and it killed the engine , seized lower con-rod bearing , I had to change crankshaft , crank bearings , seals ,piston and cylinder, but i had fun with bike for year and when i sold it , it had 30014km on gauge so there is warning that use only fully synthetic oils! and do not do engine braking while driving 2-stroke! if you want information how to get more power from aprilia just comment somewhere to my channel , i don't recomend big bore for rs it just consumpts more and only few more horsepowers when you tune your carburetor really carefully. Best way to have more power is buy bigger carburetor 32-34mm and better exhaust ( JOLLYMOTO ) is best!
Now i have Mikilon m96 250 sb it has 25 hp but even though it is still fun to drive with it ( everybody says that it is chinese crap but when it's well maintainced it works like a charm! ) :)
That is completely INSANE!!! Very cool! Even a kick ass exhaust note. Well done!
I come back to watch this video every now and again.. Makes me smile every time!!!! GOD I LOVE THAT V12 MUSIC!!!!!
sounds like flat-12 Testarossa. Great job guys.
6-8 hp from that little thing? nice. I couldn't imagine that until I heard it running. Sounds very good too. Interesting stuff.
Great looking and sounding engine, excellent workmanship.
Schon x-mal angesehen, immer wieder begeisternd!
Even if it's that small it sounds like a true V12! Incrediple sound!
I've seen plenty of miniature running piston engines on TH-cam over the years, and in my opinion, this freakin' tiny V12 is still the best!
Wahnsinn ......!!! Meinen höchsten Respekt für die Entwicklung.
That has to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen! Dont be a hater! Those who are - you can only hate if you come up with something cooler!
If you can build the engine, I'm sure you could build a car or plane for it. That thing is insane. Sounds so mean. Great job.
Respekt an die/den erbauer dieses Meisterwerks!!!
this is a work of art, absolutely unreal
OMG the size doesn't matter... It still sounds AWESOME as any decent V12!!
Thank you verymuch Catmon 1997 !
listen to that v12 purr! sounds so smooth, great job!
der absolute hammer der sound allein *-* hammer leistung respekt!!!
this is a work of art absolutely unreal
AMAZING HARD TO BELEIVE IT RUNS CONGRATS GUYS; VIDEO HA HAD ALMOST 20 MILLION LOOKS! RAY SCHULER ELKHART IND
FAT little engine
MUST be german engineering
i really love this great work dude!
V 12 engine is amazing design and brilliant engineering
Wahrlich faszinierend!
Not much impresses me any more. But this engine did. Well done. Must have taken AGES!
is it me or does it sound exactly like a cars v12 but just shifted into a higher key! nice work dude!
Sounds awesome than the normal 4 cyl car engines! Put side draft carbs so it would sound even more better
Sounds awsum! Serious model engineering right there! Well done ;)
Awesome job man. I'd love to see this in a 1/6th R/C Model of a Spitfire. That would go off at a model airplane Show.
cool, the noise is something close to a normal size L6 i like it very much!
Gorgeous.
I look forward to seeing, say, a model P51 Mustang or Supermarine Spitfire in the appropriate scale running one of these.
Has it been tried yet in flight, I wonder?
That's awesome!
Bet it would do well in a model racing boat as well as airplanes
That thing sounds like a 60's Ferrari motor. VERY impressive!
Making a super complex miniature car with this thing would be so awesome.
Awesome, just awesome. i'm not into RC stuff, but that thing is impressive.
Was für ein geiler Sound!
@katanaguy100 well actually diesels have heater plugs :) but thanks for answering my question a while ago :D
Amazing job it must take allot of time to fix and assemble an engine like that one
some bigger engines got not this beautiful sound :D
nice work
Awesome!!!
From Japan
Mr. Drendel,
A beautiful engine that should be put to work. Have someone build an ME 109 for it. That would blow away the competition,,, the sound would be perfect on a low level, high speed pass down the runway.
this engine serves as a model for the further development of ARTUS V12 engine and this one you might be fly with
Built like an old school no ohc here, love it. Bring baxk long rocker arms
This tiny engine sounds badass.
How the hell can someone dislike this?! Epic!
I love seeing all these little v12 engines, but seriously, just on a stand idling defeats the purpose, surely? I want to see one like this integrated into an rc car to really get a good sense of its performance. I think anybody who can successfully do this would make a bundle in the hobby industry. I don't only speak for myself when I say, I want to see an RC car with a fully working v12 engine!
@1393wsc No, the speed would go down by a factor of the scale of the model because the circumference of the wheel is that much smaller
omg that was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen
@fabiojas75 WOW...that's impressive! I honestly thought it would fall apart because of the strong vibrations, but again...impresive. Not the best looking thing, but hey, it actually works. Nice vid, thanks! :)
would be the best engine for an rc F1 car, especially with the sound and the power
KLasse arbeit und toller Motor
Little bit of advice. If you can make that in 1/87th scale, you will be a millionaire tomorrow.
Brilliant! You could put one in a go kart!
@ManyTailedFox Thats for sure...
When this engine is on 2000 rpm and a toyota prius is on 9000 (if it can even get there) this engine still creates more power.
sowas brauche ich morgens als Wecker^^
no man on earth can resist revving a engine, nomatter how small it may be.
einfach nur geil... der Sound :D klasse
Tak kurwa :D przejmujemy to ! ;D opanujemy cały yt ;D
That's really cool great bit of engineering needs putting in an RC stock car now!!
wow, that is a very cool model...
probably took a while to make...
Master craftsmanship!!
Wirklich beeindruckend.
Hast du alles selbst konstruiert und gebaut? Was bist du denn von Beruf?
wow great little engine
Sehr sehr geil! Meisterwerk
Oh my GOD !!! This is awesome :D You can put it in a small bike :D
HoLy S*** it's a miniature V12 WoW that's amazing!!!!
Excellent!
Danka.
Holy shit, you DEFINITELY should put that in a rc car
This is so great, a model engine in scale, its the same thing that the big ones? i mena they use pistons and everything? even oil?
Awesome. This is pure awesomeness
irgendwie süß ^^ voll der kleine kraft protz!
That is BEAST! Dear Santa...
Most epic nitro engine ever made
Will you be making a kit?
Can't beat the pushrod design!!!
@LeftistUprising While the combustion would probably pretty efficient, the insane number of moving parts inside the engine would make the friction of the engine very high. -> drastically much higher fuel consumption
Beautiful diy engine, maybe THE BEST :) have you made all components from billet? With CNC or manual machine?
@cfranchitti Torque (ft/ib) = BHP x 5252 / rpm therefore 6bhp x 5252 / 6000 = 5.252ft/ib for an 87cc engine or 157ft/ib for a 2600cc engine.
awesome sound like really a V12!
A V12 glow engine. I believe it was designed for a giant-scale RC aircraft.
I have some questions:
1. Aside from costs, what would be the advantages/disadvantages of having 30 of these engines as a V-360 or X-360 as opposed to a 2.61L 4-cylinder engine with 180 HP? If you had 30 of these engines, the displacement and power would be 2.61L and 180 HP. Would it be less economical, more heavy, smoother?
2. Is there a physical limit to making an even smaller internal combustion engine? Like, say, 1CC?
@SuperGamesTube im not an expert or anything, but correct me if im wrong. that is an internal combustion engine, and they do have cylinders... or have i missed out on anything revolutionary ?
Mmm neat
Would make you think about making a street legal moped with an engine smaller but like that
@theadizo you can see the valves moving, carbs, cylinder heads, and it smokes when
he revs it, so id have to say yes
WOW! IMPRESSIVE, MOST IMPRESSIVE, LIKE FINE GERMAN PRECISION ENGINEERING. AMAZING. Now put that in a model MBZ Gull-wing car or a model Messerschmidt's airplane or a King Tiger tank model.
SICK!! u r a genius my man!!!
@LeftistUprising Horse power, right, but very little amount of torque. And gearing system to connect hp to single camshaft, that would kill a half of the power :)
But as a item of curiosity, why not, I'm happy to see one 100 cylinder normal car ;-)
wspaniały dźwięk, prawie jak moja kosiarka
that is just too cool i am impressed
That is so f#cking sweet! gut gemacht!
@LeftistUprising its a cool idea but i dont think it would have enough torque to move anything big but you never know with something like that untill someone does it would make one hell of a sound i bet
